Story description:
Everywhere Avery goes, she hears the sound of a distant but familiar jingle of chains.

She heard the clanging of chains rubbing against eachother once again as she walked the halls of her school.
It was no secret that by a few months Avery had grew tired of the sound, along with the person who wore them.
Billie O'Connell.
She was loud and obnoxious, just like those chains that always adorned around her neck.
Avery had no reason to dislike the girl, she didn't know her personally, she just did.
Avery despised Billie.
When she wasn't talking or laughing loudly at one of her friends stupid jokes, the sound of her chains would always agitate Avery.
Even the slightest movement heard from the silver jewelry would put Avery in a bad mood.
She hated Billie for that.
Almost everything the girl did made Avery agitated, yet, she still couldn't stop. It to admire her from afar.
Watch her scribble things down in her black notebook she always had with her in class.
Couldn't help but stare at her when she smiled a pretty smile, or smirk that adorned her face.
And she couldn't help but love the sweet vanilla scent that radiated off of her whenever she got close enough. It made Avery weak in the knees.
And she hated it.
She hated Billie O'Connell. With all her being.
So why was it now, that when Billie had randomly came up to her, that she was as shy and quiet as a mouse.
Avery's mouth was sealed shut, unable to express her long time hatred for the grey haired girl stranding right in in front of her.
"Hey, are you Avery? The teather just assigned group projects. You were in the bathroom when she was calling names and we were paired together, so I thought I'd walk up and introduce myself."
Avery just nodded, afraid that if she tried to speak she would say something she might regret.
Billie sat at the desk beside her and smiled a bit.
A jingling sound caught Avery's attention and her eyes darted down the the bundle of silver chains around Billie's neck, shining brightly under the lights of the classroom.
Avery almost covered her ears at the sound being so close to her, but stopped the sudden urge that wanted to take over.
"Are you shy? I've never heard you talk in any of the classes we have together?" Billie asked.
"I'm not shy, I just don't like you." Avery thought.
"I don't like talking to people." She grumbled.
Billie hummed, resting her arms onto the desk.
"You don't like talking but you do like staring, don't you."
Avery frowned. "What do you mean?"
"I catch you staring at me, alot actually." Billie smirked.
"I don't stare at you, I observe." Avey defended.
Avery felt her cheeks heat up. She didn't think Billie had noticed her staring, especially when her focus was on everything else except her.
"Suuure." Billie chuckled.
