"Sage!" Rigby yelled.
Sage jumped out of her skin at the sudden outburst and looked towards her friend in annoyance, wondering why the hell he was yelling when they were literally 10 feet away from eachother.
"What's up Rigs?" She questioned with a sigh.
"You've been assigned again." He said, clicking through his laptop.
Sage groaned.
"Bro, I just got done with another person only 2 days ago!" She whined.
It's not like Sage didn't like being a guardian angel, in fact she loved it. She got her first assignment when she was 13.
Her job was to protect a little girl from a kidnapping, which she had done successfully.
And ever since then, she's been protecting people for years, young and old, until their respective time to leave earth.
Sage was now 17, and even though she loved saving people, as she got older it felt like she had less time to herself.
"I know Sage, I know. Trust me, I haven't gotten any breaks either this past month." Rigby said, looking up from his laptop.
Rigby was 19, and Sage's best friend. They group up together, they were practically family as they were raised together. They shared a strong sibling bond.
Sage sighed, getting up from her comfortable position on Rigby's couch.
"Alright, who am I assigned to?"
Sage was never really good at keeping up with her assignments of the people she was assigned to, so she let Rigby do it.
Rigby didn't mind though, he liked to be coordinated with everything, and helping his best friend out was an added plus.
"Her name is Billie O'Connell, height is 5,4 with blue hair and blue eyes. A young and growing musician. Is suicidal and selfharms."
Rigby cringed after he had finished reading Billie's document, and Sage blew out a tense breath.
Sage had many cases like this, and these were the hardest for her. Seeing people so broken and fragile. It hurt.
"I'll send all her information to your phone. Her address is on there too, where she lives and shit like that." Rigby said.
"Alright, I don't know when I'll be back so I might not be able to cook tonight, so order a pizza or something.
"Aw, but I love your cooking." Rigby pouted.
"You'll have to taste my cooking another time! Love you, doofus." Sage said as she walked towards thier apartment door
She heard an 'love you too' back before she closed the door and headed out of the apartment to the heaven station.
A subway station that took angels from heaven, down to earth.

Billie
I laid motionless in my bed, just staring at the ceiling. I haven't moved from my position in hours.
My family comes to check on me every once in a while, knocking on my door and making sure I'm ok....or alive.
