Amor and I stood outide of my dorm.
"You are allowed in my humble abode." I said in a terrible british accent.
"I will forever be in your gratitude, my fair maiden." She responded in a much better british accent. I held the door open for her and she walked in. She looked around, a smile plastered on her face.
"Our place is kinda messy, sorry." I said, picking up a dirty sock off the floor. Amor sat down on the couch.
"It's alright. I don't mind." She said. Allison walked in from the bathroom.
"Hey, Lamia!" She waved. She noticed Amor on the couch, and looked back at me. "Why is- You invited her in?!"
"Yep." I tapped my fingers together.
"Why?" Allison walked up to me and looked for the bite.
"Cuz.. We're friends now..." I mumbled.
"Ugh.." Allison grabbed my arm, and she sat me down on the couch. I was sitting between her and Amor. "Hm.. Glad to see you didn't completely mangle her tonight." Allison said to Amor, passive-aggressively.
"Yeah, well, I didn't really wanna hurt her.." Amor responded. She scratched at her neck nervously.
"Didn't seem to be a problem when you didn't even know her." Allison's mouth became a thin line as she put a bandage on the bite.
"Heh, yeah.." Amor played with a ring on her pointer finger. I hadn't ever noticed it before. We all sat in an awkward silence for a minute or two.
"Well, let's not waste the night. Wanna watch a movie?" Allison asked.
"Oh, yeah! Amor, what's your favorite movie?" I asked.
"Oh, I don't really watch a lot of movies. You choose." Amor responded, fixing her ring back to its original position "Let's watch Water Horse!" I blurted. Water horse is a special film. If you've never seen it, watch it.
"Sure, nerd." Allison chuckled. Amor gave her a weird look. She looked back at the TV, face relaxing. Allison put an arm around my shoulders, holding me away from Amor. She still didn't trust Amor, especially now.
"I've never seen this before." Amor said, looking only at me. Not Allison.
"It's really good, iconic." I said, leaning closer to her.
"Okay." Amor smiled. She brushed a piece of hair out of my face, her fingers touching my cheek. Her fingers were like icicles. My heart fluttered as she tucked the hair behind my ear.
"Your hand is cold." I said quietly.
"It is." A sly grin spread across her face. "Would you mind warming it up for me?" She held out her hand. I felt my face get hot, and my stomach was infested with butterflies.
"O-Okay." I grabbed her hand. Her hands were bigger than mine. It was dry and smooth, unlike mine. Mine was a sweaty mess, all of me was.
Allison shot Amor a dirty look. She pulled me a little closer to her. Amor squeezed my hand a little tighter and frowned at Allison. This went on for the entire movie until Amor snapped.
Allison leaned her head on my shoulder. Amor growled at Allison and grabbed ahold of me. She pulled me onto her lap with ease, ripping me away from Allison. I thought Allison was about to explode. I thought I was about to explode. I was a big, blushy, sweaty mess.
"What is your deal?!" Allison shouted.
"Nothing, what's yours?" Amor shot back, holding me closer against her body.
"Stop acting like Lamia belongs to you!" Allison stood up.
"You-" Amor started, but I cut her off.
"Both of you! Shut up!" I yelled. Amor let go of me. I got off her legs and stood up.
"C'mon guys, Why can't you just get along?" I asked, folding my arms infront of my chest. "Please?"
Allison and Amor sighed at the same time.
"Fine." Allison said. "Sorry for arguing."
"Yeah, I'll try to be nice.. I guess." Amor fiddled with her ring. "For you, Lamb."
Allison rolled her eyes.
"Thank you." I sat down close to Amor on the couch. Allison sat down right beside me. Allison put her arm around my shoulders again. Amor clung onto my arm. I have to admit, it boosted my confidence a lot. Having two girls fight over my attention was something completely unheard of for me.
The movie ended, and we stayed up and talked.
"So, what cool things can vampires do?" I asked.
"Well, we can climb walls, and we're pretty strong." She flexed her arm. "But, you already knew that... This ring helps me to not be sleepy during the day. Oh, yeah, and we can put thoughts into someones head after we drink their blood. It can come in the form of a dream, a little voice in their head, or even hallucinations!"
"What?!" I exlaimed. "Have you ever done that to me?"
"Hm, maybe." She snickered. I suddenly remembered the weird dreams that I've been having.
"You're too powerful.." I covered my red face with my hands. She chuckled and ruffled my hair.
"You're awfully touchy, Amor." Allison muttered.
"Ally." I reprimanded. "Cut it out."
"No, she's right. I am being touchy." Amor spoke up. "I get why you feel so threatened by me. Me being all over your girlfriend, it's understandable."
"Oh, no, we're just roomates." I explained.
"Really? Then what problem do you have with me doing this?" She asked and put a hand on my thigh. I really thought I was going to drop dead.
"Hey, stop that!" Allison swatted at her hand.
"Are you okay with this, Lamb?" She asked. I stayed silent, blushing face looking straight ahead.
"Stop playing with her." Allison grabbed my shoulder, but I didn't really feel it. Amor looked at me for a second. She sighed.
"Okay, okay. I've had my fun." She took her hand away. "Sorry, Lamb."
I looked at Allison, who was snarling, then at Amor, who was looking back at me. She had a small smile on her face.
"Alright, I think it's time for me to take my leave." Amor stood up.
"You can stay the night, if you want." I offered.
"Nah, I think Ally would murder me if I stayed any longer." She chuckled.
"It's Allison to you." She growled.
"See?" Amor opened the door and walked out on to the balcony.
"Wrong door, dumbass!" Allison shouted. Amor laughed loudly and fell over the railing, only leaving the fluttering bat wings in the air.
"Right.. vampire.." Allison sighed.
