Hawk Branwen has left his mark on countless worlds. Each one showing him that after everything he had done that there was still humanity within himself. But what of the world he left behind? What of the world he was born and raised on? What of the R...
Velvet uses a key card to open up a door as Nero and Ace lean a couple of knocked-out SMC soldiers that we're unaware of them breaking into the Weiss Fortress. As she pulls the door open, Velvet signals the others to follow. Once inside the door, Velvet closes it as Ace pulls out his scroll and dials Summer.
Ace: "Summer? You there. We're inside. You and Wolf have overwatch over Hawk?"
Summer(comms): "Yep. Wolf and I are set up on the outer wall, and I just gotta say...wow. Hawk doesn't play around. Makes sense as Raven raised him."
Wolf(comms): "Ace, it is imperative that you move quickly as your presence may have already been revealed. And during this highly volatile situation, Winter may execute Falke before you get a chance."
Ace: "Copy, Wolf. You two stay safe." Putting his scroll away, he meets up with the other two. "Alright, Wolf says we gotta move fast. So no time for the scenic route."
Nero: "Agreed. This place is too damn crowded."
The three nod as they begin to run their way through the tower. Velvet coming in handy as she's able to take out any form of armed resistance they meet quickly. Luckily, as there is currently a destructive battle to the death going on just outside, many of the armed guards are too preoccupied to worry about the three people sneaking through the tower.
As the group continued through the large complex, they could feel the battle occurring just outside—the clashing of two otherworldly superpowers in their own right. At times the three of them pass by windows, and we're able to see the carnage that the two created in their battle. The three were astonished at the amount of destruction the two could cause in such little time. The courtyard they fought in barely even be called one at this point, more similar to that of a barren wasteland within the complex's walls. And even with the destroyed area around them, Cinder and Hawk kept fighting as if the terrain didn't matter. Velvet and Ace could barely make out their figures, only being able to see the explosions of their blades clashing with one another, each connected strike leaving behind a trail of lightning and fire. Only Nero, with his heightened demonic senses, could barely make out Hawk and Cinder through their clashes, but besides that, they were in a whole other league of their own.
Nero: "You know, this kind of puts it into perspective."
Ace: "What?"
Nero: "How screwed we were when it was just Hawk. I mean, imagine the if two of them joined forces back then. Heh, no New Beacon."
Velvet: "And no us. Let's get going; we don't know how long Falke'll be able to hold out."
The three then continue up the seemingly endless tower, every so often having to fight through squads of soldiers on their way to contain the duel outside. Quickly cutting their way through, they eventually make it to the floor Winter's office was on. The only thing standing in their way was one more room.
Entering into a large chamber resembling a training arena back at the original Beacon. The three stop and draw their weapons as a lone man blocks the opposite door.
The man is around their age, approximately about 3 to 4 years older. He kneels across the room, brandishing a blood-red blade, reminiscent of Hawk's own sword. He looks to be wearing a suit of power suit of some kind, but his most defining feature is that his right arm is a cybernetic one. Spotting the group, the lone man stands up, smirking as he rests the red katana on his cybernetic shoulder.
