Meanwhile, in Higgs, Elle was eating lunch.

She had a bottle of apple juice in hand, and was proceeding to open it before she got a message. She smiled, relieved that at least one person wanted to talk to her, and despite the strict no phone rule, she still got it out and went to message the person.

That person, being Tao.

They were having a great conversation, but while in the mist of writing a message, Elle was interrupted.

"Is that a phone Elle?"

Elle looked up to see a teacher, and immediately hid her phone. There was no point anyways, the teacher already saw it.

"uhm...Yeah." muttered Elle. She already knew what the teacher was going to say next.

"We don't make exceptions, even for the new students."

The teacher held out their hand and Elle placed her phone into it.

The teacher continued, "You can get this back at the end of the day."

Charlie was once again in a room with Ben, and again, he didn't want to be there. He'll rather watch 10 movies that Tao likes then be there.

"You know I'm sorry for ignoring you yesterday?" Ben said.

Always with the sorry. Might as well make it the only word in Ben's vocabulary as it's the only thing he's said for a while. I mean, Charlie couldn't argue with that, he said sorry a decent lot as well, just not for stupid things like ignoring someone and acting like you don't know them even though you're dating(?).

"Yeah".

                                                       -----------------------

Charlie was now sat down in a corner of the art room, eating his lunch. He had tended to come here throughout Year 9, when his bulling got really bad. This place being the only spot where he could have some peace and quiet.

"It's been a while since you've hidden in here for lunch." said the art teacher. He was working on something while talking to Charlie, but still listened well. Thats why Charlie told him about the bulling first.

"I'm not hiding." responded Charlie.

That was a lie.

He was hiding, but from nothing in particular. He just needed to sort his thoughts out.

"Then what are you doing?" the teacher asked.

Charlie rolled his eyes and lifted his lunchbox over his head. Why else would he be in the art room at lunch time?

"Eating lunch." claimed Charlie.

His teacher finally lifted his eyes of the piece of art he was doing and looked at Charlie.

"So everything fine? No bullies that I have to sort out again?"

By the end of that sentence, his art teachers eyes were back onto the piece of art infront of him, and he was writing on a post-it.

"No, everything's fine"

Another lie.

"Actually, there is kind of someone."

His teacher looked up from the post-it he was writing on with a worried look.

"A bully?"

Charlie wasn't typically shocked of his teachers assumption of him getting bullied. It happened before, it could happen again.
