(A/N) Okay, I lied when I said in an earlier chapter that it was my longest chapter. This is definitely my longest chapter! I think I really outdid myself in this whopper of a chapter. It's literally 2176 words. Like, Oh My God! So yeah, feel free to read in segments. XD

(Eren's POV)

~A few weeks later~

They let me out of the hospital a few days ago. The doctors said they needed to run tests to make sure that everything was okay, and that I didn't have any brain damage or anything so that I could continue living like normal.

Except, it's not really normal anymore.

I have no memory of anything in this life. I mean, I apparently have the knowledge of a high school graduate, which is good. But there are no memories.

It's hard, not knowing anything. Stepping into a world without any previous life.

It's kind of like becoming conscious of yourself for the first time when you were a child. That first memory that set everything in motion...

I don't have any of that. I just... started existing, in a way.

But that just regards my current life.

My past life, however, is an entirely different story.

That man, or rather, Levi, appeared by my side when I awoke in the hospital. He's quite naïve, considering he acts as if he has no idea what he's done to me.

Of course, he was so naïve as to leave his phone number and address on a slip of paper, in case I, "Remembered anything."

The damn fool gave me a free ticket to his torture.

Of course, I'm not going to go kill him right now. That wouldn't be very wise, nor mature. I'm going to have to get acclimated with my surroundings, if you will.

I mean making friends, getting a job... Okay, maybe I'm not ready for a job yet.

Besides, the doctors gave me a house to live in, free of charge. No bills or payments of any kind. They even provided me food.

But the point is that I have to be patient so that my revenge will be as sweet as I want it to be.

For me, at least.

~timeskip~

My apparent adoptive sister, Mikasa, ended up coming over to talk. I don't know what about, she kind of just let herself in.

Somehow I get the feeling that it's normal for her...

She sat on the couch, looking worried. I don't know what for, but you know, there's a lot I don't know about anymore, so I'll just see what she wants.

"Eren... the doctors did tell you who I was, right...?"

I nodded my head. "Yeah, you're Mikasa. My adoptive sister, right?"

"Mm-hm. I'm glad they told you. But did they ever tell you anything about... your life? Like, anything that had happened previously?"

"No, they said that I wasn't ready to handle it yet, which I find to be a load of bullshit. But I guess I can't just order them to tell me."

"Eren... they said that with good reason. But if you want to know, I'll tell you, someday."

"Okay. So, Mikasa, would you like anyth-"

"You know, you can just call me sis... well, if you're comfortable with it..."

I hesitated for a moment. I didn't want to hurt her feelings yet, but I'm not sure that I'm too comfortable with calling a seemingly unfamiliar woman my sister... But in all honesty, I feel like I've known her all my-
