Beidou as Ningguang's Bodyguard (beiguang)

Part 44: A Good Term

"Keqing, do you know where Beidou is? I didn't see her in her room.", asked Ningguang as she walks into the hall.

"Captain Beidou is currently training by herself in the training hall, Lady Ningguang.", said Keqing while bowing to Ningguang.

"Ah, I see. Thank you, Keqing.", said Ningguang as she walks to the training hall.

Ningguang opens the door to see Beidou is training hard by swinging her claymore to the training dummies. Beidou is wearing a sleeveless shirt and her muscles can be seen pop out, which made Ningguang blushes. Beidou is sweating because of her training and the way that Beidou swings her claymore made Ningguang's heart flutter. Her heart is beating fast as she walks into the room. 

"Beidou, we need to talk.", said Ningguang as calmly as she could even though her heart is popping like crazy. 

Beidou looks over to Ningguang and lowers her claymore, Beidou doesn't say anything other than bows to Ningguang, signaling Ningguang could proceed. 

"Drop the formalities, Beidou. I'm not mad at you anymore.", said Ningguang as she crosses her arms. 

Beidou then looks up and stares at Ningguang with her puppy's eyes. "You sure?", asked Beidou as she couldn't believe it in the first place. 

Ningguang thought that Beidou is super cute and that she couldn't resist those eyes. But, Ningguang tries to act cool about it and answers, "Yes, Beidou. I'm sure."

"...a hundred percent?", asked Beidou once again with her voice so low. 

Ningguang sighs, "A hundred percent, my dear~" as she smiled at Beidou.

Beidou's eyes lit up as she jumps. "Thank Archons! I love you, Ningguang!". Beidou suddenly lifts Ningguang up into the air which made Ningguang surprised but then they laughed together.

"Yelan already explained about the other night, you don't have to worry about it. Oh, and I'm sorry.", said Ningguang as she looks to the ground.

"No no no, I-I understand why you're mad.", said Beidou as she holds Ningguang's shoulder.

Ningguang looks up and said, "Also, I don't mind waiting, I'm sorry if I forced you too much."

Beidou looks away, "No, don't be. It's my fault."

There is a silence between the two of them until Beidou breaks the silence. "So, why did you come to find me?"

"Yes, I would like to talk to you. Come to my office after you finish your training.", said Ningguang as she smiles.

"O-oh, I see. Well, I'll drop to your office then.", said Beidou while waving at Ningguang who leaves the training hall.

"Haah...I'm glad that we're not fighting anymore.", said Beidou to herself as she then wraps up her training for the day.

- at Ningguang's office -

"You're here. So let me wrap up the information.", said Ningguang as she told Beidou about Yelan's reports and her concern.

Beidou grits her teeth and clenches her fist, "That damn, Fatui. They don't fucking know when to stop."

"Calm down, Beidou. We have to have a meeting with the Qixing and your crew.", said Ningguang.

"The Qixing...oh, right.", said Beidou as she pauses.

Ningguang sighs, "The Qixing formally invites me to meet them regarding the position of the Tianquan."

Ningguang's father is the last Tianquan, possibly the worst one. But now, seeing that the position is empty, the Qixing couldn't help but ask Ningguang to step in. They also know that Ningguang has a lot of capabilities to do her work well.

Beidou looks to her Lady and said, "Hey, cheer up will ya, I think...being the Tianquan suits you."

"I'm just not sure, Beidou.", sighed Ningguang as she smokes her pipe. Beidou knows that Ningguang is really stressed when she smokes.

"I know that your father doesn't have a good reputation, but you're different. You definitely will be the best Tianquan!", said Beidou as she doesn't know what else to say.

"And...if there's someone that wants to harm you. I will protect you with all my might!", said Beidou as she lifts her arms acting like swinging her claymore.

This made Ningguang laughs and Beidou felt embarrassed because of it. Beidou's face becomes red and looks away from Ningguang.

"Thank you, Beidou.", said Ningguang as she still laughs a little.

"Hm?", asked Beidou as she doesn't quite understand.

"For cheering me up, dummy. Here's your reward.", said Ningguang as she leans in to kiss Beidou's lips and this made Beidou's eyes widen because of surprise.

They're kissing for a while and Beidou breaks the kiss because she couldn't breathe. But, Ningguang pulls Beidou to her and they're kissing deeply as their tounges swirl at each other.

"Ningguang...you...should go back to work.", said Beidou between her breath.

"I want to have you, I am jealous that Yelan saw you in a state like that. I thought that I'm the one who could see that.", said Ningguang as she pouts.

Beidou thought that her Lady is adorable as she whispered, "Aw, don't be jealous my Lady. I wouldn't let anyone see me again like that, only your eyes could view my whole body."

They're kissing again as Beidou kisses Ningguang's neck and it gets hotter every time they're breathing.

As Beidou tries to lift up Ningguang's dress, a knock can be heard with a voice,  "Lady Ningguang, the Qixing request to see you now at Yujing Terrace."

It was Keqing and Beidou slams her palm to her face as her crew ruins her moments. "Keqing, so this is how you play, huh.", said Beidou with annoyance on her face.

Ningguang then pats Beidou, "Don't worry, we could always do this every night. I'm sorry that I have to leave now. Be good, Beidou.", said Ningguang as she fixes her dress and hair before kissing Beidou once more.

Ningguang then leaves her office and leaves Beidou alone there.

These words struck Beidou as her face becomes red, "I- this is too much, Ningguang. You never cease to amuse me.", said Beidou as she then leaves the office to go back to her crew.
