I spent that night at Wilburs apartment, him on the couch and me in his bed as he insisted. I ended up telling Tommy I would join in his vlog because, why not?

I was woken up by my phone ringing causing me to groan in annoyance but answer is seeing as it was Madison.

"Hello?" The main reason I had answered was because I had asked her last night to feed my pet fish this morning.

"Mackenzie! Come home! Please!" She begged, a sound of worry in her voice. I automatically sat up, panicking at all the possibilities of what could be going on.

"Woah Woah, what's happened!?" I asked, now worried myself. I honestly didn't know what to expect.

"You have a letter form the police! I think it might be about the fire!" As soon as she said that I jumped from the bed, knowing I had to be there soon.

"I'm on my way! I'll see you soon!" I hung up the phone hurriedly packing my small amount of things and rushing into the living room seeing that Wilbur was already awake.

"Woah! Are you okay!?" Wilbur spoke as he saw me rush out. I looked at him, a look of sorry but excitement that I might know who or what did this on my face.

"Madison just called, my friend. A letter from the police is at my house! It might tell me the cause of the fire, I need to see it!" I rushed my words as he carefully listened.

"Do you want me to drive you? You know, instead of getting a taxi?" He walked over to me as he just finished washing up.

"Would you!? Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I gave him a quick hug as he unlocked the door and I ran down the stairs of the apartment building, Wilbur following closely behind, car keys in hand.

After what felt like forever we arrived at my house as I had to give Wilbur the address. "Good luck Kenzie!" Wilbur smiled as I got out of the car.

"Are you not coming in?" I frowned, stopping myself from closing the door so I could talk to Wilbur.

"I can if you want me to?" He chuckled as I nodded, rushing him out of the car as I ran towards my front door, knowing Madison would still be there.

I knocked impatiently on the door as it opened almost immediately, revealing Madison. I took the letter off of her, running into the house after I did.

"Harpers on her way, I just text her!" She informed me, tripping over her words slightly.

"Okay and don't shut the door, Wilburs coming in!" I shouted over to her as I saw a look of shock spread across her face, that was until she remembered what we were actually doing.

I hurriedly opened the letter whilst Wilbur entered the house, shutting the door behind him and making his way over to the kitchen where both Madison and I were stood.

I read through the letter in my head as Wilbur and Madison looked at me deeply, waiting for me to finish reading the letter.

My face dropped as the letter came to and end. This didn't make any sense to me. "What? Mackenzie, what is it!?" Madison asked as she saw my expression change.

I began reading them the letter. "Dear Miss Mackenzie Hudson, we are happy to inform you that we officially know what the cause of your house fire was. However, we are sorry to inform you that it was what we thought, arson. We found all finger prints of the arsonists. It was caused by a group of 5. Isaac Johnson, Benjamin Green, Max Wilson, Scarlett Evans and" I froze before finishing the letter. "Harper Gray." I looked up at Madison.

The betrayal hit me hard as my eyes went glossy from tears that threatened to spill. No wonder she wasn't ever sympathetic about the situation. She was involved in it.

"Who exactly are they?" Wilbur spoke quietly, not wanting to come across as rude. I looked up at him as he frowned down at me, clearly feeling bad for me.

"Harpers our other friend and the other four are her friends from secondary school. Madison and I have never liked her friends." I explained, my voice constantly breaking.

"Oh Kenz." Wilbur looked sadly down at me, as he opened out his arms. I ran around the kitchen island, eventually ending up in Wilburs arms as Madison stood shocked beside us.

As soon as my face leant against Wilburs chest, I began sobbing. How could she do this to me? I could just about make out Madison looking up at Wilbur, a sympathetic look on her face.

There was a loud knock on the door, I looked confused until the realisation hit me. Madison has invited Harper. I wasn't mad at Madison, at first we thought she didn't know anything about it either.

"I'll get it." Madison spoke quietly, making her way over to the door. I turned around, keeping Wilburs arm around my shoulder for comfort as I leant against his side.

Just as expected, Madison opened the door revealing a clearly worried Harper. I knew she wasn't worried for the same reason me and Madison were. She was just worried about getting caught.

"How could you?" My voice broke as I looked at her dead in the eye. I could see the expression on her face continuously change as she looked back at me.

"Mackenzie I-" she tried to take a step forward but I stopped her in her tracks. I didn't want her in my house but this is how it was.

"No! I don't want you near me! Not only is it YOUR fault Noah is dead! You could have killed ME as well! What's your problem, Harper!? I always told you those little friends of yours would cause you trouble but you didn't listen!" I was so angry at her, and she knew it.

"I know! I don't know what I was thinking! I'm sorry!" she tried to solve her mistake but nothing was going to be enough, how would it be?

"SORRY!? YOU'RE SORRY!? That's all you've got to say!? YOU killed Noah, Harper, and don't think you're gonna get away with it!" I just got more angry by the second.

Wilbur was still by my side, still having an arm around my shoulder for comfort. Madison was a few feet away from Harper, giving her the dirtiest look I've ever seen Madison give anyone.

"Get out of my house." I spoke coldly, my voice low but I didn't care. I couldn't even look at her any more. She ruined my life. She could've ended it.

"Kenz-" she went to speak again but I was sick of her already. I knew she had been off, but I brushed it off. Now I wish I hadn't.

"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" I broke down in tears again as Wilbur pulled me back into another hug, stroking my back in an attempt to calm me down. Both him and Madison gave her a dirty look as she left the door, Madison shutting it behind her.
