            Chapter 5

He slowly bent his head down to kiss me.

“Dylan” I spoke my voice still hoarse from crying, stopping him from kissing me, I gently pushed on his chest telling him not right now.” I am sorry,” he said a little embarrassed that he got rejected. I went and sat next to him on the ground and pat him on the back. “Don’t be, I want to kiss you of course,” I said. “But” he pushed, I sighed “But I am not ready, I mean we haven’t even gone on a date yet”, I said, and watched for his reaction.

            “I under stand , I am sorry Sara I wasn’t even thinking about that”, he said I felt so happy he understood I put m hand on his cheek it tingled where we touched “Thank you “ I whispered. “But that doesn’t mean I am going to give up on us,” he said determined. “What do you mean”, I asked , he stood up with a smile on his face “Sara how would you like to go on a date tomorrow night?”, he asked a pleading look on his face. My heart thumped so loud I knew he heard it because he smiled and suppressed a chuckle. I smiled and decided to play with him a little bit, “Well I don’t know Dylan,” I said acting as if I was not sure. He frowned at my reaction and looked hurt.

Fine I said to myself I have had my fun, it made my heart skip a beat to see the pain on his face just because I hesitated. “Sure” I said, and his answering smile almost blinded my eyes.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Dylan’s (POV) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

            I was leaning towards her my wolf not liking the distance between us,when her voice hoarse and whispered broke the mood. “Dylan” she said hoarsely and she slightly bushed on my chest a hint to stop. I was so embarrassed I didn’t even ask her or know if she wanted me that way yet, and I was already making my move, I felt horrible I just couldn’t control my self that much at that moment. “I am sorry” and I knew that my face probably looked embarrassed.

            I went to the opposite side of the balcony and sat on the ground. She quickly followed and sat next to me, and started to pat my back, “Don’t be, I want to kiss you of course”, she said. My heart jumped, and I thought that it my bust but I knew that she had to have a reason to stop me from kissing her. “But” I said knowing already what the problem was. She sighed and looked into my eyes, “But I am not ready, I mean we haven’t even gone on a date yet” she said exasperated. I knew she was right we have only known each other for a day and I was already making my move, I felt disgusted at my self.

            “I am sorry Sara, I wasn’t even thinking about that,” I said truthfully. She looked a little bit happier than before now that I told her I understood.” Thank you “, she whispered in her small beautiful human voice. Nevertheless, that did not mean I was giving up on us. I knew that I loved her and no way was I going to just leave her because of her little statement, “But that doesn’t mean I am giving up on us”, I said. “What do you mean”, she asked, a little confused. So sweet, I stood up and smiled, “Sara, how would you like to go on a date tomorrow night?” I asked sure she would say yes. “Well I don’t know Dylan”, she said looking like she was thinking hard which made me frown, and my heart dropdown to my feet afraid of rejection. Finally, after a pause, she smiled “Sure”, she said. My heart jumped and I smiled brightly.

            We both talked for hours, and it was 10:00 before I finally admitted to being tired. He chuckled and said that we could catch up tomorrow at our first date. He said that we could go and watch a movie , I agreed and he asked me what it was that I would like to see, I said that I wouldn’t mind because I didn’t exactly keep up with the movies that were coming out in Transylvania. He did not know what was playing either so we ended up checking on the computer to see. After a thorough search, we finally chose a werewolf movie called “Howling at The Moon”, which he seemed amused and surprised that I picked it he seemed slightly cautious. We then looked at the time it was playing and chose the one at 7:15 so we could eat there. After saying our goodbyes unwillingly, I went to my room and thought about him, and our up coming date.

            We talked for hours which to me felt like seconds, when she looked up into my eyes and with a sheepish grin said that she was starting to get tired, of course I could tell before  but I did not want to part with her at any time.

            So reluctantly I told her that we could catch up on our first date tomorrow and I was filled with a anticipation of seeing her again just by the thought. I suggested a movie, which she agreed, and we went on line to search what was playing seeing as how, neither of us new of any of the movies that were out. Finally we decided on a were wolf movie which amused me, and I felt a little cautious seeing as how I am a werewolf and she just so happened to pick that movie for our first date.

            After agreeing to seeing the movie that came on at 7:15,so we could eat while we were there we reluctantly said our good byes and I rushed back inside after her disappearing from view. Once inside I knew I was so excited that I would definitely not be able to go wolf that night. So I headed of to bed and all the while thought about Sara and our date that seemed like so far away.
