CECE LANDED ON THE GROUND IN-FRONT OF THE SMOKING VOLCANO AS SHE SMILED AT SERSI. "It's time to put a god to sleep" she said, sighing as Druig and Makkari joined beside the two. Sersi looked over at her as CeCe nodded. "I got you guys covered"
Makkari snapped her fingers causing her to look over, 'If Ikaris becomes too strong, you need to promise that you'll run'
"I will protect you guys until I can't anymore" CeCe brushed off, "No!" Druig interrupted.
He signed, "Promise that you'll leave, doesn't matter what happened to us"
She didn't respond, didn't even react. Her face stayed blank as she stared at him, "Promise" she mumbled, avoiding eye contact with the three as she nodded. Even though she didn't mean it.
Fhe four turned their bracelets causing a gold energy to leave them and connect together. A force field was created around them as CeCe caught sight of Ikaris in the air. A laser shot druig down as the three faltered.
"I should've done this five centuries ago" Ikaris grunted, lifting Druig by the neck and flying away.
"NO!" CeCe screamed, disconnecting her energy as she quickly flew after them. Ikaris, having seen her in the corner of his eye, threw Druig to the ground and shot a laser at him before turning to her.
Makkari's scream could be heard from the ground as CeCe's heart broke seeing the place Druig had fallen.
"How about you think about this before you make a mistake"
"Mistake" she whispered, eyes suddenly turning dark as the magic around her doubled in size. "You're the only one making a mistake" her voice never quivered as a beam of energy hit him. He suddenly felt great sadness, flashes of Ajak, there life before, his and Sersi's wedding. All of it hitting him at once.
His powers suddenly gave up, sending him falling to the ground. He cradled his head, "Get out of my head!" he yelled out as she approached him. She grabbed the back of his head, dragging him up as she sent him flying at least 100 feet away.
She flew towards him quickly, seeing his body face down in the sand. "Who's the one making a mistake now, Ikaris?" she asked teasinly.
He sat up, eyes red with anger. "Still you" he shot a beam at her, sending her back into the water as a wave pulled her back under.
Makkari rushed to the edge of the water, trying to look in for sight of her bright uniform but failed.
"It's over"Ikaris voice rung through, "Druig is gone. This is done"
