Weeks pass filled with classes and boredom. The only people making anything good is Isabella and Marina, Kade is still being a dick. I've tried to get in touch with Jess and Jason, but they only do few worded replies to my texts. However, it's nearly the half term meaning they can come up to see me, and Jason has been saying he will.
I've asked Isabella about it and she said they always do a party during the half term break for the people staying in school. It'll be good because I've been feeling that Jason and I have been getting out of touch lately, like he's distancing himself from me. I'm probably just being homesick and paranoid though.
"Boo!" Someone says behind me and I jump, spinning on my heel.
"Jesus!" I says when I see Noah. Him and I have been getting closer over the past few weeks, mainly because we always accidentally bump into each other in the library.
"Sorry sweetheart, what you reading?" He asks peering down at the book in my hands.
"Re-reading Pride and Prejudice for english."
"Ah, fan of a dark, brooding man then?" He says, wiggling his eyebrows and I laugh.
"Maybe, isn't everyone?" I answer, smiling up at him.
"True, true."
"What about you, what book are you here for?" I ask.
"Well I was looking for a fantasy but now you've got me in the mood for some dark, brooding romance book so I think I'm gonna go find that," He answers, grinning.
"I wish you luck then, Noah, because this library has no good smut. Believe me, I've checked."
"Oh, I bet you have sweetheart," He smirks at me and I wave as I leave the library.
"Was that Noah?" Isabella asks and I jump.
"Oh my god, you appear out of nowhere!" I say laughing.
"Sorry! But is there something going on, I heard him call you sweetheart," She says excitedly and I roll my eyes jokily.
"It doesn't mean anything serious, just a friendly thing and may I remind you that I have a boyfriend."
"I know, I know! But, you said he doesn't text you enough so maybe you can have your own fun," She says and I give her a look.
"I'm not cheating on my boyfriend, Isabella. Anyway, he's coming this half term so it doesn't matter about the texts."
"Your really excited to see him, aren't you?"
"Of course I am, this long-distance thing is hard."
"I know babe, don't get too worried though, Jason seems perfect by the way you describe him so you have nothing to worry about," She says and links arms with me. "Come on, I think they have a really good dinner today."

"Alina! Are you paying attention? What did I just say?" Shouts Mr. Cooper at me and I raise my head from the desk I was just laying it on.
"You just said how the primary moral lesson of Pride and Prejudice is to not be too prideful or judgmental toward others," I say in a bored tone which seems to anger Mr. Cooper.
"Why is this the primary moral lesson, Ms. Viotto? Let's see if you actually have read the book like you say you have."
"Well, Elizabeth and Mr Darcy are inclined to see the bad in one another initially. Darcy is prejudiced against the unsophisticated people who live in the country, and this initially blinds him to Elizabeth's many positive attributes. In turn, Elizabeth's wounded pride prejudices her against him. Eventually, they both learn to overcome their flaws and see how well-matched they are."
Mr. Cooper rolls his eyes and nods, asking another question to which Tammy raises her hand high in the air and almost jumps up and down in her seat to answer. Mr. Cooper gives her a toothy smile, showing his annoying perfect, white teeth and gestures for her to answer.
I lay my head back down where it was. Fucking school is so boring.

"You good?" Kade says as he walks into our room and sees me lying face down on my pillow.
"I'm so tired of school already," I mumble and Kade laughs.
"It's not even been the first half term yet and your acting like you've been here forever," He says, chuckling.
"Well it fucking feels like forever, with Mr. Cooper's infuriating personality and Ms. O'Connell's monotone teaching. Why do I even need to take Latin anyway? So stupid."
"Come with me, I want to show you something," Kade says and nudges my arm.
I look up at him warily and say, "What is it?""Something to cure your boredom, come on," He says and I get up and follow him out of the room.
He leads me down a passage way and up a few stairs until we reach a window.
"From this window you can climb out onto the roof and watch everything happening down below for miles. It's actually quite entertaining because you overhear a lot of shit from people thinking they're talking in secret."
I smile, "Thanks, Kade."
"Anytime," He smiles back at me and we hold eye contact. I feel a flurry of an emotion go through me. I break the eye-contact, trying to shake whatever that was out of me.
"Why are you being so nice?" I ask him quietly.
"Why not?" He says and I study him cautiously. "I'll leave you to it then, be careful though, on the roof."
"I will, thanks." I say and watch him leave.
Well what the fuck was that? I don't know if he was serious or not, but that did not seem like the wanker I got used to for the past weeks.
