1823

Rose and Ethan were strolling down the street four kids in tow. Jordan and Jace were holding Ethan's hands and the twins Jocelyn and Jaden were in the buggy scrapping with each other. Rose and Ethan could not have been happier. They saw Nathan and Valerie a couple who would face the same challenges they did with a wife as smart as the husband. Like Rose Valerie was brilliant. They stopped to talk with the couple they wanted to share smart females were nothing to fear he was hoping to put Nathans's mind at ease.

"The first week I met Rose my mother had one of her dinner parties. She had invited Lord and Lady Clementine and their daughter. He made the mistake of dismissing my Rosy and telling her she did not know what she was talking about child labor. I remember being so proud of her because she was knowledgeable enough to form an educated opinion. I think it was then I fell in love not only with her but her brain."

Valerie was touched by the story and made a comment.

"Nathan has not learned to appreciate my brain as of yet, or he would support my nomination for the Royal Society."

Ethan looked over at Nathan and looked confused.

"You still do not support her efforts. Do you think maybe it might be helpful for a good marriage?"

Rose laughed,

"Do not say such things Love after all we do not agree on half of the things you vote on in the house of Lords. You give them the false impression a couple cannot be of different options they must share the same thoughts and concerns. We both know you do not believe that. And we both know sorting out our disagreements can be very stimulating and beneficial to the two of us."

Ethan leaned down and kissed his wife.

"You are being naughty dear."

"Here I thought you liked me that way."

He kissed her again.

"Not in front of the children dear. They are impressionable."

Rose and Ethan walked away laughing they remembered they needed to sort out

Something's. One of the most pleasant ways they had come to love about each other.
