After some time Steve began to stir as he woke up. "Inez?" He mumbled as he looked at Mike, who sent him a very confused look.

"No, don't touch it." Dustin warned when Steve went to touch his face. "Hey, buddy. It's okay. You put up a good fight. He kicked your ass, but you put up a fight. You're okay."

Lucas turned to Inez, she was the only one qualified to drive. "You're gonna keep straight for half a mile, and then make a left on Mount Sinai." Inez nodded and then floored it. She wouldn't normally drive this reckless but it was kind of important to do so at the moment.

"What's going on?" Steve muttered, he then realized they were going a bit too fast. "Oh, my God!"

"Just relax." Dustin tried to calm him down. "They were gonna leave you behind. Inez put up a good fight to get you out of that house. I promised that you'd be cool, okay?"

Steve then began to panic even more, he was not liking this ordeal whatsoever. Inez just drove faster, she wanted to get this over as soon as possible. "Whoa! Stop the car! Slow down!"

"I told you he'd freak out!" Mike yelled.

"Stop the car!" Steve continued to shout.

"Okay, everybody shut up! I can only half see at the moment and you guys aren't helping!" Inez yelled out, she wasn't normally the yelling type but the moment called for it. Lucas then yelled out a last minute direction causing the older girl to turn way too fast for her liking. Steve screamed as he held onto Dustin and Lucas made a noise alarming close to an eagle. Eventually they did make it to the hole and everyone got out as quickly as possible.

When Steve got out of the car he immediately hit the ground. "Guys." He mumbled as he picked himself up and leaned against the car. "We are not going down there right now. I made myself clear." Basically everyone else already had goggles and bandanas on. "Hey, there's no chance we're going to that hole, all right? This ends right now!"

"Steve!" Inez shouted to get his attention.

"I thought you were against this too?"

"I was but then I changed my mind." Inez explained. "I know you're upset, and probably still dazed, but it's our job to get rid of as many of these monsters as we can."

"Bottom line is," Dustin added, "A party member requires assistance and it is our duty to provide that assistance. Now, I know you promised to keep us safe." He handed him a backpack and his bat. "So keep us safe."

Steve was the last to jump down the rope and into the tunnels. "Holy shit." He muttered as he looked around.

"Insane right?" Inez spoke specifically to Steve as she stood next to him, she had been one of the first down and still was amazed by it all.

"Uhh, I'm pretty sure it's this way!" Mike called out.

"You're pretty sure, or you're certain?" Dustin questioned.

"I'm 100% sure." Mike yelled. "Just follow me and you'll know,"

"I love having my life in the hands of a thirteen year old with a drawn map." Inez muttered to herself.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hey, hey, hey, hey. I don't think so." Steve moved in front of Mike. "Any of you little shits die down here, I'm getting the blame. Got it, dipshit?" He walked ahead. "From here on out, I'm leading the way."

"I think you should be leading us." Max spoke when she walked up to Inez.

"He just got the shit kicked out of him. Figured I'd give him something." Inez and Max laughed as Steve continued to yell for everyone to walk faster.
