(this chapter may be really short because i've already posted two chapters today and I just wanna get to the confession and yeah-)

Ever since the day that Mukuro went to Aoi's, Sayaka has refused to let Mukuro out of her sight. Almost quite literally too. They spent a few more days at Mukuro's house. During those days, Sayaka had to be seeing Mukuro almost all of the time. If either Sayaka or Mukuro needed to shower, the other would sit in the bathroom with them (obviously the shower curtains stop them from seeing each other). If Sayaka was the one in the shower, she would poke her head around the curtain every 5 minutes just to make sure that Mukuro was okay. If it was Mukuro that was in the shower, Sayaka would try to hold a conversation that lasted the entire shower, just so she could hear Mukuro's voice.
Sayaka wouldn't go to sleep until Mukuro was asleep and Sayaka would make sure she was to wake up before Mukuro. If Mukuro wanted/needed to go somewhere, Sayaka would beg to go with her.
The only time the two girls were apart was when one was needing to go to the bathroom.

Junko came back from her trip halfway through the week, meaning that Sayaka couldn't stay every night. Mukuro suggested her and Sayaka went to Sayaka's place so they could stay out of Junko's way, but Junko didn't want Mukuro leaving overnight because Mukuro is the one that does all of the housework.

The days where Sayaka couldn't stay overnight, she would constantly check up on Mukuro and message her all the time. It wasn't as good as actually seeing Mukuro, but it was better than nothing.

Junko was in and out of town a lot. The days where she was out of town, Sayaka would stay over. Junko never said that Sayaka could stay round, so Mukuro wasn't really betraying Junko's words.

There was one time where Junko had left late one night and told Mukuro that she wouldn't be back for a few weeks.
Mukuro messaged Sayaka and said that she'd meet her halfway so they could go back to Mukuro's. Thats exactly what happened. Once Mukuro was in Sayaka's sight, she ran over to her, hugging her. Mukuro looked at her, smiling.
"I've missed you." Mukuro said.
"I've missed you more though." Sayaka said as a reply.
Mukuro held her hand out to Sayaka. Mukuro waited for Sayaka to take her hand. Once she did, they started walking back to Mukuro's house.
Once they got there, they both took their shoes off and went upstairs. They laid down how they usually did and put a film on. Neither of them would really pay attention to the film though. They would just look at each and smile until they would eventually fall asleep. The movie was just on for background noise so it wasn't just silent. Mukuro and Sayaka spent every day, that Junko was away, together.
They couldn't go a day without speaking to each other.

They truly did love each other, only they were both too scared to admit it just incase the other person didn't feel the same way about them.
They craved each other's love, yet none of them would actually ask for that.

Junko eventually moved out, leaving Mukuro by herself. This meant that Mukuro and Sayaka didn't have to sneak around and wait for Junko to leave to see each other again. This wasn't that much of a big deal anyways as Mukuro was turning 18 in a couple of months (Sayaka is already around 19 years old bc of the slight age gap).
This also meant that Mukuro could relax a lot more.
Her room started to look a bit more tidy and she seemed to be happier without Junko there.
Seeing Mukuro happy made Sayaka happy too. She was so in love with Mukuro, but she would just refuse to tell her because she didn't know how Mukuro felt.
Yes, Mukuro liked women, but that didn't guarantee that she liked Sayaka.
She would just simply look at Mukuro and she couldn't help but smile. Every time they hugged, Sayaka fell deeper in love with the soldier. If Sayaka did anything a bit bolder, such as straddle Mukuro, she would start to stumble on her words a little as she realised how vulnerable Mukuro truly was when it came to her.
Mukuro's body was normally tense a lot of the time and she would keep her guard up, but Sayaka noticed that with her, Mukuro would melt under Sayaka's fingertips. Mukuro craved Sayaka's touch.

Sayaka felt so lucky to have met Mukuro. In all honesty, Sayaka fell in love with Mukuro as soon as their eyes met at the concert. She got butterflies in her stomach and she almost forgot the words to her own song. She was glad she managed to grab Mukuro before she left. If not, they may have never seen each other again.

Sayaka just wished that she could tell the other girl exactly how she felt about her, but she kept trying to push those feelings aside because she didn't want to ruin the friendship they had.
She tried distancing herself from Mukuro a little bit, but that would never do much. She couldn't get Mukuro off her mind.

Mukuro realised that Sayaka wasn't as clingy as before and this realisation hit Mukuro like a ton of bricks.
She was already trying to convince herself that Sayaka didn't like her, but that really hurt Mukuro.
Mukuro didn't want to force herself onto Sayaka incase that was too much for her.
Mukuro would try to show that she wanted Sayaka's touch. She would constantly curl up to Sayaka and hug her. Things like that.

Sayaka caught on to what she was doing, yet she tried not to pay too much attention to it. She wasn't sure if it was just Mukuro being nice, or if she was trying to show that she liked her. Sayaka would still lay how they normally would in bed and she would still hug Mukuro, but she forced herself to think nothing of it. She loved Mukuro, honestly she did, but she didn't want to get hurt.

It had been a couple months since Sayaka and Mukuro had met and they were both planning on confessing to each other.
