Jasper pov

The next day the guys were sitting around waiting for the girls to get ready so we could go over to Bella's. Peter started the television. What shocked us was that on almost all news channels last night's pictures were being shown.

News had spread like wild fire. Everywhere there were people saying things like 'the billionaire ice queen had finally found someone to melt the ice glacier she called heart' or 'looks like Frederick and Bella were nothing tHough the former may not like it a lot. ' or 'they do look good together'
"didn't know Bella was that famous" EMmett commented. We nodded. "I don't like how she has changed and become so cold. " esme said. I nodded thinking about our conversation in the car.

Carlisle suggested that we should leave now. We reached Bella's house only for our car to be swarmed by the media. Four bodyguards immediately helped us out and through the media. Though the humans unintentionally did shy away from us, it seemed that these people wanted to know us enough to be fighting their instincts. The guys led us to her house. Bella was playing with Lily. I felt my breath catch in my throat looking at her. She looked utterly sexy in the red office dress.  Her hair was in a pony. She looked beautiful. Even more because she had a carefree smile in her face as she allowed Lily to play with her fingers as she fed her breakfast. Lily noticed us first and squealed and hid her face in bellas body. Bella frowned and turned noticing us for the first time. She smiled and tugged Lily. "babe Do u want to meet them? " Lily looked at us and nodded quickly. Bella introduced us. When she reached Rosalie, Lily looked at her in awe,"u r weally pweety " she Said. Rose smiled and hugged her, "not as much as u sweety"

"mummy is more pweety than me" Lily said. Bella smiled shaking her head. She turned to me just as the door opened and Justin entered. "daddy" Lily screamed running towards him. "hey princess" he said picking her up. He carried Lily to us and smiled in greeting before hugging Bella and kissing her on the cheek. I clenched my fist to stop myself from attacking him.

I was really confused as to why I was behaving like this. Why was my body reacting to Bella like this? I knew Peter knew something but he kept quiet. Damn fucker.

Bella snapped her fingers in front of me and raised an eyebrow, "u ok?" I nodded smiling and hugged her. She was surprised but hugged me back. Her body and scent helped me to calm down. Her scent though sweet never elicited a blood lust out of me but a different kind of lust. God I needed to know what was wrong with me? Bella pulled away and turned to Justin who was looking at us frowning. "is he really your boyfriend, izzy?" he asked Bella. She shook her head and related the previous nights events. Justin laughed at Bradley's comment and said, "well it is true and I am sure jasper is making many guys want to kill him so as to have a chance with you. Be ready for many glares and shoves and snide comments jasper. U have just stolen the hottest and top eye candy for all the bachelors in Manhattan mostly all the single and some married billionaires " Bella rolled her eyes and smirked. God she was an eye candy and I wanted to just grab her and do something that would mark her as mine.

Wait a minute mark her?? What am I thinking??  Is Bella my..?  Peter nodded at the direction of my thoughts and gave me a thumbs up. I glanced at Bella who was looking at me too. She gave me a full blown smile and squeezed my hand reassuringly. The tingles that erupted were enough to confirm my line of thought. Why was I always jealous of Edward to have her? Why I couldn't stand any guy touching her? And why was I feeling so strongly for her and wanted her to be mine? 

Only one thing could answer this and that was that Bella was my mate.

The realisation caused a big smile on my face. But it soon wiped off remembering my and my family's past with Bella which had led her to be this cold person. I vowed to lobe her and make her trust and love us again. She will be mine. I was brought out of my thoughts by Lily jumping on Justin once again and he caught her and hugged Bella. "I will drop her off tomorrow and get her fitted for her dress today. Is there someone at the boutique?"

"Lola might be there. I will arrange it and tell Tina that I will be ready with her dress choices in the afternoon " he nodded and left with Lily.

"so what's the plan for today?" Emmett asked

"well my pr manager wants to meet jasper and me regarding the party and our public appearances together. So what Do you do jasper?"

"I got my law degree and I am practising with Peter who is my brother. We also have invested in Many properties and businesses. Rosalie is my cousin and married to Emmett who is posing as Carlisles younger brother "

She nodded and I added, "I have also gone to my previous surname, Whitlock" she smiled and nodded.
