Jasper pov

I hated the way the guys hugged my mate when she came down the stage. But nothing compared to the jealousy I felt when the two guys, Eros and Ryan turned towards us. The moment they saw Bella, they smiled wide and hugged her spinning her around.  Bella laughed and hugged them back. She then stepped back and took my hand. "guys meet jasper. U have heard about him. " they looked at me and smiled but their emotions showed a bit of jealousy. God! How many guys wanted my mate?  I shook their hands gripping it a bit tighter. I then took my place near Bella and pulled her by the waist. "so this is the boyfriend huh, well buddy u r up for a lot of competition, us included. " Eros said jokingly but with more than a hint of seriousness. "trust me I m not afraid of competition. Bella is mine. My girlfriend. And I ain't letting anyone take her away from me" I said kissing Bella on the neck and sucking lightly. She moaned and gasped and pushed into me further. The guys stared at us with jealousy evident but changed it to a smile when Bella looked at them. "so what's the news about the Walter's?" Ryan asked. "they are in bad shape. But they think that marrying of their son would help the matter. They want him to marry me but the last thing I want to do is be stuck up with the jerk " Bella said. I was fuming which soon changed to amusement when she added, "secondly when a girl has a guy like jasper why would I even think of anyone else?" she smiled at me and kissed my cheek.

I nuzzled my face in her neck. "I heard they were upset to hear about your boyfriend. Also that they have tried to contact and merge with the Japanese investors" Eros said.

"well they can keep dreaming. That contract is mine. I will see u later. We have to leave. Good night. " she said hugging them. I was confused at the rush but Eros glanced behind him and then looked at Bella nodding. She took my hand. We said our good byes to Bradley and left with the family. My family went home while I went to drop bella. "thank u for today, jasper " Bella said.

"no problem Bella I enjoyed it. But why did u rush out? " I asked her. By that time we were sitting in front of her mansion. She sighed, "because if we had stayed there any longer, maybe it would have led to u or Emmett killing somebody. " 

I was confused, "what?"

"Aiden knight is a sick bastard and wants me to be trophy wife. I have rejected him due to which he never stops insulting me or inappropriately touching me. He has nothing to lose while I may.  I have to look out for and protect my daughter. He is dangerous. So I tend to avoid him as much as possible" she had tears in her eyes. I was fuming. "how dare he?  I will kill him for touching you like that. " I said growling. Bella shook her head and scooted over and picking up her gown a bit Sat on my lap hugging me. "its  ok jasper. Please leave it " she cried into my shoulder. Though she was not actually crying, her voice did Break. I immediately pulled her to me and nuzzled my face into her neck. She sighed relaxing into my arms. I kissed her neck and forehead before moving back. She lifted her head and we stared at each other. Unknowingly we leaned in and our lips met.
