A Mythical Invasion

This isn't going to end well...

Kai's POV:

I woke up and felt a bit weary...but I didn't feel too stressed out anymore. 

"I see your awake." The figure said as I looked up towards her. Just then I remembered what had happened.  I immediately put my hands under my shirt to feel for blood or the wound from what had happened...but there was nothing.

"I wouldn't bother. You've already healed, you got a new one. Only problem is that it doesn't beat, but you'll still die if wood penetrates it."

"Y-You killed me!" I burst out, not loud though since I was in the middle of sobbing. I never showed weakness or fear easily to others...but she killed me...yet here I was!

"I did, only to help you though. Comes with benefits like going weeks without blood, controlling your looks and temper as long as you consume blood within a months span, let's you run quicker, and heightens your senses. "

"But I'm dead! There is no benefits to that!"

"True, but you'll live forever without your appearance aging after a point you choose. Plus you won't die unless wood penetrates your heart. There's one exception that doesn't apply to you though-"

"What?" I asked as I cut her off mistakenly, I just needed to know. 

"As I was about to say, since your master of fire and all that the sun doesn't seem to harm you. To other's like me we would turn to ash in excruciating pain under sunlight, but that big ball of fire in space doesn't seem to bother you."

"So your saying...I'm like this...forever?"

"If your lucky."

"WELL SCREW YOU!" I said as I broke off a piece of my wooden bed-frame and ran towards the figure, who I successfully got."

"YOU- YOU BRAT! I told you everything!"

"That's too bad, you monster!"

She was turning almost rotten as she let out a last remark: "I am a monster...but so are you." She said before she fell to the ground, body turning to ash.

Just then I heard a knock from my door. "Kai, is everything alright?" someone asked. 

"Yea! Everything's just fine." I said, trying my best to sound normal. Everything was not fine, it was the opposite of fine. Then it hit me...what if  there was a way to turn back? I hit my head 'Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!' I just killed my only source that was true! 

If she was there though...and others found out I killed her...what if they came after the team? After Nya? After Wu? After Lloyd? Zane?Jay?Pixal?Cole!

Again another knock came from my door: "Kai? Did you hear me?" Someone asked, I guessed I must've been a bit too deep in thought. "YUP! Sure did!" I said. "So can I come in or not?" they said. "Yeah come in, sorry it took me a while to answer" I said as I opened the door as Lloyd came in. 

"So what's up, why'd you come see me?" I asked. "You've been acting off Kai. We're worried." Lloyd said as he got straight to the point. "I just didn't feel good, that's all" I responded casually.

"So is that why you lied about hearing me at the door?" Lloyd asked. Shit. He tricked me!

"You asked to come in..." I said as I sat there in shock, and anger filling up inside me. I don't know why...but this anger was just ready to go. 

"I said that Dinner was ready. That last part was just to see if you were telling the truth-" Lloyd said before I cut him off. 

"I am fine! You all just have to give me space!" I outburst as I stood up, starring at Lloyd...who looked more worried now than ever. I always outburst, and this wasn't a loud nor big one. I controlled my anger when I just spoke...so what...

"Kai...you're eyes are red..."

I felt my heart drop, and I just got a new one. I quickly turned away. "Kai your pale- how long-"

"I'M FINE!" I finally shouted, which I guess was heart from the dinning room where everyone was. They all rushed in almost immediately. I still was facing towards my back wall though...none of them could see my face. 

Cole instantly knew what was wrong though, and what Zane would suggest. A medical check-up...which includes listening to your heart rate. I had none! This isn't going to end well...

Sorry this took so long to come out! I've been busy these past few months and have been working on some of my other stories. I hope you've all enjoyed so far! and please leave any suggestions in the comments!
