You walked up to the counter and saw they had your favorite drink. You happily forked over the cash for the largest version, and staked out a nearby chair.
You put your book on it while you waited for your drink. In no time, it was done. When you turned around, you saw a cute blonde with lots of freckles dotting his cheeks sitting on your book.
"Umm," You hesitated as you walked up to him. "I put my book there to save my seat."
"Oh really?" His accent was strong. He picked up the cat on his lap and turned around to look. "I guess I did!"
"It's okay if you want to stay there." You said, hiding your face as you grabbed the book, pushing past him. "I'll find somewhere else."
"No, that's fine. You can..."
You shook your head and tried to block out his existence as a fluffy white cat rubbed up against your leg.
"I insist." His deep voice said firmly, stopping you in your tracks. "Sit."
