Two months later:

Seungmin left you a cryptic text about meeting up tonight at 8, leaving you an unfamiliar address and no other explanation.

You two had been talking since that fateful day at the cafe. Even though you both suspected that you were soulmates, you wanted to take it slow. You both were hurting in your own ways, and jumping into something without being prepared wasn't your style.

You drove up to the address, and realized it was the local park. The sun was setting over the water, and you got out of your car and started looking around.

"Min? You there?"

"Over here!"

You looked up and beamed at him, as you always did. He became your safe place. Someone to talk to. A shoulder to cry on. A nonjudgmental voice of reason. He even gave you the courage to finally start looking for other jobs. He told you that no one deserves to be treated the way you were, no matter how long you worked there or how loyal you were.

You both were loyal to a fault.

You rushed over to where he was, but stopped when you saw a small fire in the fire pit. You tried not to cry, but it was hard not to be open and vulnerable around him.

"Minnie..."

"I have a song for you first, then we can cuddle. I promise."

He picked up his guitar out of the case you just now noticed, and started singing a ballad in your favorite key. The one you told him about in your talks.

The one you told him would instantly make you fall in love.
