When The Rain Starts Falling

Eight Part

One month passed and suddenly Chloe had a bad feeling about her body, she started vomiting when she smells something really disgusting even her favorite foods is like a garbage to her. She throw all of in her stomach when she reached the cubicle, she opened one if the cubicle and throwing while Chris had been following her so he was worried if Chloe is sick.

She finally breathe when all of in her stomach came out, he massages her back while giving her fresh air.
"What happened to you? Are you alright? Did you feel sick? Are we going to clinic? Tell me something I can do for you."- Chris asked many questions to Chloe but she has thinking twice if she will agree to go the clinic to give herself a rest, she feels like a sick lady.

"Let's go home, I want one day rest."- she replied. As she almost make one step, her eyes blurred, her body was out of balance while she heard Chris' voice shouting her name, and she passed out.
Chris on the other hand, called head nurse to rescue Chloe inside the cubicle so the head nurse came and he fetch Chloe to go to the clinic to let her rest for a while.

The head nurse examines Chloes' body while Chris was sitting beside her, wondering what was happening to her. After she finished her examines through Chloes' body, she turned her head to Chris. "You really need to be careful about her, she'll be very sensitive so be patient."- head nurse said to Chris but he's confused what was she's trying to say to him.

"What was that mean? Is she really sick? What medication do you have to recommend?"- he asked but the head nurse widely smile.
"She's pregnant with your baby."- a surprised on Chris' face plastered. Is he going to be a father soon?
"How many weeks the baby is inside her belly?"- he asked again the nurse.
"When did you two make love?"

"A month ago, it was May 6."- he confessed.
"She'll be very picky in every food she eats so every food she requests, you must be follow her. You know, pregnant girls are easy to get angry when you disobey them."- head nurse said. He just nod his head, and when the head nurse came out, he sat beside her and crying full with excitement.

Then Chloe finally wakes up, she felt clumsy and wants to vomit again. "Where I am?"- she confusedly asked Chris.
"We're here, at the clinic because you fainted."- he answered. She glanced at her watch and realized she was almost one hour passed out. She remember they have a quiz today so she woke up but her body didn't want to cooperate.

Her body wants to lay in bed all day, her throat needs some water and she didn't want to work, all she wanted is rest all day as she can.
"I feel like my body wants to rest all day."- she sat again on the clinic bed.
Chris can't help but hugging her so she confusedly startled but she hugged him back.
"Hey, its okay."- she said.

"What do you want to eat? Do you need healthy foods? How about your favorite? Do you want to eat them?"- Chris asked Chloe as if he's in a rush.
"You act really weird today. What's going on?"- she asked, her brows meet each other and a question mark starts filling her mind.
"Oh! Right, I forgot to tell you that... Were having a baby."

"Baby? We were having a baby?"- he nod. "Then let's go and buy some babies' stuff!"- she excitedly grabbed Chris' arm. She remember the night they were spent together and shared their affectionate and love to each other. It was May 6 and now it's June 6.
"How about our classes?"- he asked. She turned to him and realized again that they have a quiz!

"Oh! I forgot! Well, I'm going to call our parents and tell that I'm pregnant!"- she was more excited than him. He stop her for a while.
"Wait! What if they don't like our baby?"- he asked.
"Chris, come on! Having a baby is a great blessing! Our parents will adore our baby if it was born, whether its a boy or a girl!"- she explained while holding his face.

He's thinking twice but he finally agreed. "But, can we talk to our parents in person? You know, we don't know what's their expression after hearing this."- she just nod her head and they called the driver of the limousine to pick them up from school, they talked to the principal to keep that they skip school for a moment and the principal agreed on their decision.

On their way to the villa, Chris can't stop imagining things but Chloe hold his hand so he felt little relaxation. They entered the mansion of the villa and all of their parents are there, Chris hold his breath and gulp his saliva because he's nervous right now.
"Hey! Children, why are you here? I thought you're having a quiz today?"- Chloe's mother asked them.

"Mom, dad? We are here to announced you an unexpected news."- she said to their parents.
"And what was that, sweetie?"- Chloe's mother asked.
"We... We were having a baby!"- she hid from her boyfriends' t-shirt knowing that she'll be beaten by her father for disobeying them.
"We were having a grandchild?"- they asked so they nod.

"It's okay, we accept it."- both of their father said with a smile on their faces. Chloe and Chris looked on each other, they were expecting to beaten by their parents but that was not happened.
"Dad, are you sure? I thought you'll be angry because I disobey you?"- Chloe asked her dad but her dad just laughed at her and gave them a group hug.

"Okay, children. Listen, no matter what happen, stay close to each other. No one can break the ties on your faith. Okay?"- Chloe's mother asked them so they nod.
"Yes, mommy. I promised not to break our ties with Chloe and make sure we will take care of your future grandchild."- he replied so they just smiled at each other after they hugged.
