Chapter 3

Selena's POV
When I saw David and his brothers messing with Mike and star I took off leaving Marko behind as I hopped on my bike. But when I saw David grab star's arm I felt myself snap and I sprayed them with rocks. It stunned them for a moment before they turned to me with death glares, but I refused to back down and happily returned it. "Hey, asshats if you're so pissed at me then take it out on me leave star and Mike alone." Star looked at me worried. "Sel, don't they're dangerous" I looked at her, " and you know I'm worse." She shook her head but a glare from David stopped her from saying anything. He slid from his bike and stood over me grabbing my chin with a smirk. "oh and what did you have in mind princess?" I smirked and purred out "how about a friendly race. If I win you leave Mike and star alone and serve me for a day." He grinned and put his thumb on my lip pulling my face closer to his to where I could smell mint coming off him "and if I win then you have to serve me for a week." I smirked and let my lips open slightly. When he pushed his thumb to run it along my teeth I quickly bit down breaking the skin and a bit of his blood landed on my tongue. He quickly pulled back and I licked my lips taking in the spicy mint flavor. " deal where's the finish line?" He held his hand to his chest before grinning and licking his wound clean. "Hudson's bluff, do you know it?" I laughed and nodded "I know it, I used to love going there." He smirked as the others revved their bikes to life while Mike pulled up beside me, star on the back of his bike. " sel you don't have to do this I've got a bad feeling?" I smiled at him revving my bike up "chill mike I've got this. Now go home and take star too. I'll be home in about an hour or two." He glanced at me nervously and nodded before taking off. Marko then pulled up beside me looking at us. "Oh and Marko will be the ref" David nodded agreeing with my terms and we drove up to the boardwalk entrance. "Ready, set, GO!!" And with that we took off through the crowds of people to the other end of the boardwalk, David in the lead for a bit but when we flew over the steps I got the lead and I felt my tires immediately grip the sand sending me into the lead. I laughed happily as I flew ahead and I heard the boys whooping and hollering a couple of feet behind me as David got beside me, his eyes filled with mischief. "Sand tires are a nice touch." I grinned and turned to throw sand at him as we suddenly hit the forest, I grinned as I swerved around big rocks and under low hanging branches. When I looked over I saw David beside me until we suddenly went out and hit fog. I saw him back off slightly and I knew the cliff edge was coming up. When I saw it through the fog I pulled up to it and stopped a second later. David pulled up beside me with his brothers and I grinned leaning on the handlebars of my bike. "Hah losers." He laughed and I hopped off my bike and stood there as the others got off theirs. "Man, I've never met a girl who could ride like that. How did you learn to do that?" Paul asked  and I shrugged and smiled at him "I grew up riding on these sand dunes. I know how to read how they shift." He smiled as Dwayne went over to my bike checking out my tires and engine. I then looked at David and saw him covered in sand that I threw on him. That sent me into a giggling fit, as I was giggling I didn't realize I stepped back until I felt the edge of the cliff slip from under my foot. I gasped and closed my eyes and prepared to fall but before I could I felt an arm wrap around my waist and pull me into a chest. I felt myself shaking as someone began to pet my head until I calmed down enough to feel the fishnet material under my hands and the smell of pine filled my senses telling me it was Paul holding me. "Shh~ hey you're okay I've got you." I felt him Pull me away from the edge and chuckle softly. "Are you going to stay buried in my chest? I don't mind it babydoll but your cousin might." I quickly pulled away the sparks I could lightly feel stopped as I let go. I looked over to see Mike pull up with star. He stopped and hopped off his bike running over to me and grabbing my arms looking me over for any wounds. " oh my god sel are you okay they didn't hurt you did they?" I rolled my eyes and pulled my arms away before flicking him in the head. "No dumbass they didn't in fact I had fun they actually gave me a challenge something you never have." He whined softly running where I flicked him. "That's not fair sel my bike wasn't made to keep up with yours, you know that." I grinned and crossed my arms over my chest pushing it up slightly before turning to the boys. "Now I believe you have a deal to stick to and it will be the day of my choosing too." I saw David groan and then he nodded. "A deal is a deal. Now would you guys like to come to the cave where we live." I nodded and started to follow them when Mike pulled me back. "Are you sure it's okay? Sel, I mean they could still be dangerous." I laughed and shook my head. "It's fine Mike I don't think they're dangerous and don't worry I'll protect you" and with that I followed after them but when I almost tripped I was suddenly picked up bridal style and I looked to see it was David. He grinned down at me as I huffed and looked away. " aww don't be that way princess I just don't want you to get hurt." I blushed and when we got to the cave David grinned and looked at Marko ''Marko, food!" Marko nodded and left to get food. I pouted as he left and I tried to squirm out of his hold only for him to hold me tighter. Dwayne and Paul finished lighting the barrels on fire revealing the sunken hotel. I looked around in awe as David explained how the hotel was built on the fault and fell through with the big earthquake. He then sat down in a wheelchair sitting me in his lap. I glared at him as he snaked his arms around my waist, laying one of his hands on my thighs. I sighed and settled into his lap just enjoying the light sparks coming from his touch but refusing to show it. When Marko came back he had a huge box of Chinese food. "It's feeding time, come and get it boys." He handed out food and gave me a box before handing one to David and holding out one for Mike. He shook his head, " nah im good" David looked at him "What, you don't like rice? Tell me Michael, how could a billion Chinese people be wrong?" Mike finally took it and I opened mine to see shrimp fried rice. I smiled happily and took a bite at the same time Mike did. "How are those maggots?" I looked at David and saw he was talking to Mike. I looked over at him "huh?" "Maggots, Michael. You're eating maggots. How do they taste?" I saw him throw the carton down and spit out the rice "leave him alone" " Mike are you okay?" He looked at me and went back to the box as the others laughed loudly. David then held out his box of noodles, Mike looked at them "it's worms" David brought the box back and looked at it and showed it to me. "What do you mean they're worms? princess, are these worms?" I shook my head and he started to eat them and I couldn't help but watch as he used his tongue to lap them up, my mind wondering what else it could do. "Don't eat.." David then looked at him and held the box back out which Mike snatched. "They're only noodles Michael." I started to eat my rice again as the boys mocked Mike and I saw David smirk at me letting me know he caught me staring. He then leaned down to my ear and blew against it. "Naughty princess" I blushed and he grinned before motioning Marko over and I heard him tell him to bring the wine. Marko left for a moment and when he came back he had a jeweled bottle in his hands that looked super old. I watched in awe as he took a long drink of it, my eyes trailing along how his throat moved with each gulp before he pulled the bottle away and smiled with a light shiver. He then looked at me and held the bottle to my lips. "Come on princess, take a drink and stay with us forever." I blushed as I went to take a drink and star started to say something but a glare from all the boys silenced her. I licked my lips and took the bottle in my lips and David tilted it as I took a drink of it that tasted like berries and cream with a small spicy mint like kick. I pulled back after a couple of swallows and the boys let out a cheer. I smiled dazed as David then offered the drink to Mike "Come on, be one of us." I heard star say something as mike took the bottle but I couldn't make out what she said as I sat i David's lap dazed until Mike took a drink and all the guys chanted our names "Marko take us for a ride" Marko started to push us around the fountain as the guys cheered and Mike continued to drink. I then smiled as David leaned down and pulled me into a kiss that was deep and passionate. When he pulled back Paul took his place bringing me into his arms. He grinned and kissed me softly until I was pulled from his arms by Dwayne who brushed my hair back and pulled me into a soft but passionate kiss. I purred into the kiss wrapping my arms around his neck until he pulled away with a smile and I was placed in marko's arms. He smiled at me and purred in my ear. "You're ours now, cutie." He then slipped something onto my neck with my choker and then pulled me into a rough kiss that left me breathless.  When he pulled back I saw them grin at my dazed breathless state as I kept my vamp in check.
Time skip
Later after me and Mike sobered up a bit we all hopped in our bikes and followed the lost boys to a bridge "aw right on time". Me and Mike looked at them confused "David what are we doing here?" "Michael wants to know what's going on. Marco, what's going on?" "I don't know. What's going on, Paul?" "Wait a minute. Who wants to know?" "Michael wants to know." "I think we should let michael know what's going on."  I giggled watching them play dumb until Marko waved at me and micheal. "Goodnight micheal and angel" he suddenly dropped through a hole "bombs away!"  Paul then went over and snapped his fingers "bottoms up" before dropping too. I tried to hold myself back as Dwayne smirked and did finger Guns before dropping. David then smiled and patted michaels shoulder. "Come with us you two" he then dropped and I went over to the hole and saw them hanging. " Let's go Mikey '' and with that I turned my back to the hole as I smiled at Mike and I fell back falling through the hole and quickly grabbed the pole between Marko and Dwayne they smiled at me and Mike came down shortly after in front of David.  I giggled watching Marko and paul kicking at each other as they laughed and cheered. "Welcome aboard micheal" Marko smirked at me as David was paying attention to micheal "fun huh?" A minute later we heard the train start to come over and  I grinned as we began to shake "hold on" "are you crazy?" I cheered in joy until I saw Paul drop into the foggy abyss below. I then felt myself scream in shock and had to quickly control myself. " don't be scared guys" and with that Marko dropped with a shout too. I stared down before looking at Dwayne who was barely hanging on. He smiled at me and let go. It was then just me, David and Mike. David looked at me and winked, "let go princess we won't let you get hurt." I smiled and started to let go, something in me trusting him and Mike shook his head frantically "sorry Mikey but it looks like so much fun" and with that I let go and felt like I was falling through the fog forever.
