Y/n's pov
I turn around and slam my hand into the alarm " would you just shutuppp " I shut my eyes again and fall into a deep sleep .
" y/n !!! " I wake up to my mom calling my name ..?
" yeahhh" I shout back down the stairs .
" your work is calling , they would like to talk to yo-"
" oh sh*t " I mumble to myself and look at the clock .
"it's already late in just gonna take my time " I think to myself and pull the warm blankets off and walk down the stairs .
Steve's pov a while ago
I walk into work and no one's here yet , I throw my bag down on the floor and sit down on the beanbag until someone arrives .
" steeve ? " ... " y/n ??? " I hear Robin yell as she walks into the back rooms
, " hey " .
She walks over and puts her bag down next to mine ,
" where's y/n ?"
Robin asks me with a frown
" how would I know " I tell her as I get up and serve the first customer .
*time skip *
" your turn to serve customers " I say with a sigh walking over to the beanbag where Robin was sitting but now gets up and starts walking over to the front,
" call y/n and see if she picks up ! It's been more then an hour and she still hasn't shown !! ".
Robin yells as she picks up her scooper .
Y/n's pov
My hand slides against the wall as I slowly step down the stairs and onto the wooden floor , " here " my mother hands me the phone .
" hHello " my morning voice cracks
" hey , your late if you haven't noticed " Steve says sarcastically
" oh really ! I haven't noticed .." I chuckled into the phone .
I hear Steve laugh and he says " will you come today ? "
" yeah yeah .. I'll be there in about 45 minutes " I say with a frown .
" see you ! " Steve says as I put the phone down .
Steve's pov
" hung up with no goodbye ? "
" rude much " I mumble to myself then turn to see Robin staring threw the window .
" did she pick up !?" Robin asks me with a smile
" yep , she'll be here in 45 " I say closing the window .
Y/ns pov
I open the car door and hop in well sighing .
* time skip *
when I get to the mall I see Dustin's friends arguing about mikes grandma and lying..?
I laugh and walk up to scoops .
Robins pov
I see Erica and her group of friends and immediately walk to the back and tell Steve to go serve customers .
I look at the clock and it's been about 40 minutes since y/n said she would show up , ~ what time did she say she was gonna show ? ~ I thought to myself and quickly remembered 45 minutes .
" only about 5 minutes until I see her "
I mumble to myself as y/n turns the corner into the back room " see who ? "
She says with a smile and I just stay quiet then eventually say
" let me guess , you slept in ? " I say jokingly .
She responds with a cute giggle and walks out to serve customers .
