Steve has been smiling all afternoon because of my brother , Dustin.
Dustin got back from his summer camp yesterday and is coming to the mall to see Steve .
Robins pov
There's not many customers today so I'm pretty bored scooping , I look threw the slightly opened window to see y/n and Steve , I sort of get jealous well their talking until Steve turns to look back at me and I roll my eyes and turn around to see a small curly haired boy .
" hey welcome to scoops a- " I start to say until he interrupts me with
" Im dustin ! "
" I'm Robin " I say blankly
" is he here ? " a smile spread across his face
" is who her-" I start to say confused as Steve bust out the back rooms yelling
" Henderson !!! "
Leading to Dustin yelling a bunch of nonsense with " you got the job ! "
Then Steve and this little kid do a weird handshake and I just laugh to myself .
Steves pov
Me and y/n are just talking when I hear a familiar voice , I think about who it could be when as y/n interrupts my thinking with
" anddd he's here ... "
I immediately jump up and run to the front .
" Henderson !! " I yell we'll running up to him
" You got the job !! " Dustin says with a laugh
And we do our handshake as y/n walks through the door towards the front .
Dustin looks at her confused
" YOU work here ?? " he says shocked
And y/n looks at him and says " yup!"
Y/ns pov + time skip
Robin and I are serving customers since it's pretty busy now ,
" I never knew Steve would have so many friends " Robin says sarcastically after giving an ice cream to the last customer in the big line
" Dustin's my brother " I say rolling my eyes
Immediately Robin looks at me with wide eyes
" DUSTINS your brother ?!?!" She says shocked
" yup " I say with a laugh
" no way ! You guys look nothing alike!"
She says laughing as well
" well many people say tha- " I was interrupted by Dustin screaming
" I INTERCEPTED A SECRET RUSSIAN CODE " .
Me and Robin look at each other confused ..
Steve's pov
" They ditched you ??? " I say with shock as Dustin nods and sadly says
" on my first day back too ! "
" jerks " I say with a laugh .
~a couple minutes of talking later~
Dustin tries telling me something but I can't hear him and keep saying " what ?" And " huh? "
He eventually just yells
" I INTERCEPTED A SECRET RUSSIAN CODE "
I look up and everyone around us is staring , especially y/n and Robin .
" yeah that's what I thought you said "
I say quickly to Dustin .
~Small time skip later ~
Erica and her group were back again bothering Robin " Steve ! " she yelled .
When he didn't reply , she burst through the back door . I heard her yell at him and my brother but the only words I can put together is Robin saying something like " you sh*tbirds !" And I was pretty confused so I walked into the back as well , watching everything play out .
" yeah ? And how do you know these Russians are up to no good anyways ? " she said obviously mad , as I walked in she looked at me with a angry smile .
" how do you know about the Russians ?" Steve looked at Robin confused then to Dustin .
Robin sighed , " I can hear everything , y/n too . You both are extremely loud ."
Dustin didn't believe her and said
" okay then , what were we talking about "
Robin sighed once again and said " you two think there are evil Russians plotting against our country, on tape and your trying to translate but you haven't figured out a word because you dinguses didn't realize that the Russians use an entirely different alphabet then us . " Robin finished with a long sigh as both Dustin and Steve looked at with open mouths and shocked faces .
Well they were stunned Robin reached out and tried to grab the tape recorder , before she could Steve snatched it away from her , " what are you doing ? " he asked .
" I want to hear it " Robin says plainly
" why " both Steve and Dustin say in sync
Robin rolled her eyes and said " I can help ! " she says with a grin .
" how can you help ? " Dustin asks
Robin smiles and says confidently " I'm fluent in four languages , you know ? "
She then said something in pig Latin just to mess with them, I tried to hold back my laughter after Steve and Dustin smile at each other and she then makes them frown after she says
" that was pig Latin you dinguses "
She then grabs the recorder out of Steve's hands and she then tells him
" your turn to scoop " making him get up so I could sit down and help them .
