CHAPTER TWELVE

GENEVIEVE'S POV

OH MY GOD!!!!

am i dreaming? what the fuck is happening? someone pinch me now "let's sit our chef prepared us something small" dad smiled at the guest as they all walked to the large table in the livingroom , i pulled bridget back "what the fuck?!" i whisper yelled  "yeah i know " she facepalmed groaning slightly

"is this a dream?" she shook her head "pinch me" i did as told and pinched her "ow?! you bitch" she rubbed her arm with a pout  "what? you said i should pinch you dumbass" she stuck her tongue out childishly "i thought we would never see them again" we slowly walked to the living room "yeah but hey...maybe fate said our lonely asses ain't gonna be so lonely for long" she grinned making me slap her arm

"come on" we walked to where they were sitting as i took a seat next to my mom with bridget next to me that was directly opposite from them , i couldn't help but look at her... and good god she's still as gorgeous when i first saw her even with her nerdy glasses , she still looks like a freaking greek goddess

but something seemed a bit off...she looked angry by the way her jaw was clenching and unclenching and the cold look in her eyes confirmed my thoughts

"right so i gathered all of us here today as you know , i've been gone for a couple of days meeting up with alejandro here and we discussed a few things that would benefit both our mafias"  dad spoke up

"we thought about this long and hard and yes , i wasn't on board with this at first but if his mafia merged with ours— it could be the strongest mafia in the whole world and with the amount of threats that's been going about that other mafias wanting to overthrow the romano empire , we've came to a conclusion"

dad's eyes turned to me giving me a small smile making me give him a confused one back "christian and i decided to let our first borns get married in order to merge our empires" the water i was so wonderfully drinking , i spat out and coughed in shock 

i felt bridget hit my back very harshly by the way "i thought you were a swallower not a spitter " i glared at her hitting the back of her head ,  calming down my coughing attack as i saw luna almost spit out her water as i'm assuming she was shocked at the news and maybe heard what my dumbass best friend said

"excuse me what?!" i looked at my dad who sighed deeply "i'm sorry bunny... we thought it was for the best to keep you and your mother safe from any harm" i looked at my mom who looked at my dad in shock , i take it she didn't know about all of this

"since bellarosa here is the heir to my empire and she's the best trained assassin here , she'll keep you safe from any harm and both our empires together would be unstoppable" i turned my gaze to bellarosa who hasn't said a word glaring heatedly at the table , so that was her job... okay great to hear

"wait ..wait ..wait so i'm being forced to marry someone?" i looked between my dad and alejandro "well not necessarily forced , you father was to stubborn so i made a couple of changes and both you and bellarosa will stay together in your own penthouse i've purchased and learn about each other . we're giving you guys three months—if it doesn't work out than i'll find another suitor for her" alejandro's grey cold eyes bored right back into mine

"excuse me" bellarosa stood up walking out the livingroom,  i frowned slightly feeling some sort of tension between her and her parents , dad cleared his throat clearing the obvious tension in the room. i stood up "i'll be back" i don't know what possessed me to do this but it seems like my mind had a mind of its own as i followed to where she stormed of too
