"so how am i going to plan this?" i asked bridget who was munching on my chips she stole from me as she shrugged
" i actually don't know honestly" i rolled my eyes snatching the bag from her
" hey!"
" shut up , i called you over for help and you're gonna help me" i glared at her as she raised her hands in surrender, mhm good
if you're wondering what we're discussing , well i was planning on asking bellarosa on a friendly like date , as FRIENDS okay! i'm trying to be nice and since we've started off fresh i thought... why not have this date to get to know each other. as friends people!! don't think anything else
" why don't you just have it here , cook her up a nice dinner with some candle light and shit and you never know she might just fuck your brains out after" my face flushed slapping her arm
" oh my god briget" i shook my head at my very blunt best friend
" what? it was a suggestion" she shrugged snatching back the chips eating it
" that's too romantic bridget , it's a friendly thing remember" she rolled her eyes
" evie you overthink to much" i huffed folding my arms, not gonna lie i lowkey do overthink alot
" just do something small here , the penthuse is nice and big than make like a picnic type vibe here in the livingroom , you know put on some netflix make some snacks and shit" i thought for a moment , that does sound like a great idea
" finally something sensible that came out your mouth" i smiled kissing her cheek before standing up
" and you're gonna help me push these heavy ass couches away so i can set up the blankets" she groaned loudly like a big baby
" why" i rolled my eyes pulling her up
" because i said so , now come on she'll be home at 7"

after a few hours of putting this whole thing together and putting the snacks and everything on the small table , i quickly went to my room to shower and actually put on some clothes other than what i wore the entire day which included a hoodie and sweatpants
20 minutes later i got out the shower and did my business. humming i picked out a decent outfit putting it on and i loved how the pants sit on me , it made my ass look good as fuck
after finishing my hair putting it in a simple low bun i quickly put on some lip gloss before rushing back downstairs
she'll be here any second now
feeling nervous i refluffed the pillows trying to calm myself . god why am i so nervous it's just a friendly date , right?
my heart spiked up when i heard the door open and closed knowing it was her by her heavy footsteps and deep sigh
don't be nervous evie you'll be fine
i saw her walk into the livingroom as she paused in her step her brows furrowed as she looked me than the picnic
"what is all this" she asked confused , a tiny pout formed on her lips and she tilted her head slightly. how is she cute , hot and scary at the same time
"i just thought... after the whole fresh start thing , we could get to know each other so i thought why not do it with a mini indoor picnic" i smiled feeling my heart pound against my chest
why am i reacting like this
she went still for a moment making me anxious. i knew this was a bad idea , god i'm so stupid for thinking this would work-
"sure , i'll change into something comfortable" oh thank fuck
giving her a smile she went upstairs. letting out a large breathe i didn't know i was holding calming my heart . it would've been so embarrassing if she said no and laughed in my face for being stupid and naive

hearing her footsteps coming i relaxed in the blankets trying to not look like i was about 5 seconds away of having a mini anxiety attack . taking in her attire , she had on black sweatpants and a matching black sweatshirt . she too had on her glasses and her hair now messy not as slicked back than it was previously
simple yet she looked effortlessly out of this world . it's like one moment she's think badass assassin with the blank face and cold eyes , than the next she's this softy, her face relaxed and eyes actually held warmth. it was adorable
who knew a scary assassin lady could be a big soft teddy bear
