Please Don't Go

Savin Me/Steve

I woke up and I was in a room. I noticed that the room was dark and cold. I looked around. The last thing I remember was walking to the Camaro. I hoped Dritt was going to make it. I hoped someone would find me. Someone broke my chain of thought by walking into the room.

"Now that your second partner is out of the way. Your all mine."

"What do you want with me?"

"To have you pay for what you did to my brothers. There was four of us. There is just me and my one brother left."

At that moment I heard gunshots. Then saw someone run into the room. I seen them take a look at the person who had me. He shot him point blank in the head. He didn't give him a chance to shoot me. He had his gun pointed at me. I was thankful for whoever showed up.

The person helped me up and we ran to the truck. He turned on the lights and sirens. I was not driving and I noticed we had a tail. I then thought about the fourth brother.

"There is a fourth gunman."

"Son of a bitch."

"I never got your name. I did want to thank you."

He drove to the hospital and lost them for a moment. He threw me a set of keys. I realised the keys were for the Camaro. He got out of the truck for a minute and messed with something in the back. I got into the Camaro just in time to hide. The suspects chased the Silverado. I then followed them.

I followed them to a cliff.  At that moment I sat and watched both vehicles exploded I stopped and got out. The truck had been really close to the cliff at one point before exploding. I checked the crime scene.

The people were dead. I was able to put out the fire. I found one thing in the truck. It was in a metal box that was fireproof on the seat. I picked it up and left. I went back to HQ.

I went to Danny's off and found Charlie. He was asleep on the couch. I then put a blanket over him. I sat at the desk and took the Camaro keys out of my pocket. I looked at them. I noticed they had a extra key. I opened the box and found Dritt's credentials. I also found Danny's.

"Uncle Steve, Did uncle Dritt make it back yet?"

"That was Dritt?"

"Yes, he woke up right after you left and he brought me here."

"Charlie, uncle Dritt died saving me. I am so sorry."

I got up and sat next to him and let him cry on me. We fell asleep like that. We did not hear anyone walk in. But, they did and covered us up with a blanket. I never noticed.
