This work is the result of a collaboration between two people. Shortly after our friendship began, we noticed that we had surprisingly similar taste in fiction, characters, and settings, as most of our favourite characters (collectively and individually) would have been alive sometime during the late 1800s and conceivably the early 1900s as well. The work will be cohesive, though each part will be written by the one of us who knows most about that; e.g. Faust will not write about Phantom of the Opera and Colette will not write about The Prestige, instead focusing our respective creative energies on that which we know best. We have done our best to ensure that each character represented here bears an accurate resemblance to their depiction within canon, as well as remaining as close to canon as we can where we can; some storylines simply do not allow for total accuracy.
Characters in the work are sourced from the following:
The Prestige
The Illusionist
Les Misérables
The Phantom of the Opera
Once Upon a Time
Sherlock Holmes
Titanic
Van Helsing
The Greatest Showman
Van Gogh: Painted With Words
The Electrical Life of Louis Wain(Who knows- maybe more will sail with us!)
We own none of the characters within the work unless explicitly stated otherwise.
