your POV

"As silent as the woods in the night"

My eyes skimmed the words on my journal, the sound of children at play in the nearby park. I look back up to the creek, water trickling softly. "Excuse me ma'am" I hear soft italian accent behind me, I turn my head to see someone dressed in clean, formal yet casual clothing. "May I sit here?" he continued, I nod, scooting over.

"What do you have here?" he asked, pointing to my journal, "Oh! That's just my adventure...book or um..yea" I stutter over my words, "What is in your little adventure book?" he softly asks, his italian or latin esque accent comes through again. I calmly hand him the book and let him look through the pages. He's being careful as if it was glass. I take this time to notice his features, slicked back, dark brown hair. "This is lovely, what are these?" I snap out of my focus "They are just photos I have taken from my favorite places around the world..aka the only places I've been to" He chuckled, handing me the book back.

"Maybe some day I will be able to visit such beautiful places like you" he looked at me, all I could do was muster up a soft smile.

"Hopefully I will be able to show you more of these" I say as I stand up

I continue "I will have to be heading home soon though, I don't really like the night when I am alone"

"No worries" he reassured, "Sometimes nightfall is better than the sun, I hope to see you again sometime" he smiles at me. "Hopefully soon, it was nice meeting you" I say making my way towards the exit of the park, he waved back and continued on his walk into the woods.

My drive home was normal to say the least, tapping my fingers to the beat as I looked around, I saw him again, he made eye contact with me and walked away quickly, suddenly I hear a honk and start driving as it was my cue to go.

I ignore the situation that just happened, I mean maybe it was just a coincidence. Even though I never saw him enter a car or a cab, he walked through the woods..

Confusion settling in my head, I shrugged it off whilst unlocking my door to my small apartment

I here the pattering of paws "brrEOW"
"I know I know" I responded to my cat, Sheva.

I see her fluffy tail wooshing back and forth as I open a cat of wet cat food "Here you go my love" I put the food in her bowl. Hearing satisfied nomming coming from her as I walk away getting ready for my shower. I look at myself in the mirror, smiling as I run my hands over my body. I hear a loud crack come from outside, my head snapped towards the widow that was currently being covered by the shower curtain. I slowly walk over to the window, I move the curtain, seeing the outline of a deer. I let a sigh of relief escape me. Thankfully I put a privacy screen on my window.

Being in the countryside was nice, no harsh commotion or some bitch ass traffic. Just the birds waking me up at 7 and the deer scaring the shit out of me.

As I turned the knob of the shower I feel the humidity in the room rise, thankfully I didn't have a door for the bathroom, just a curtain

It was my cats idea considering she never leaves me alone when I shower. I hear her meows as she walks in the bathroom, jumping on the sink and laying in it. I stepped into the shower, humming softly to myself as Sheva tried to meow to the song

I feel shivers up go up my spine, chills rushed over my body in a heavy wave. I don't understand, 'the water is hot...' I think to myself. I start messing with the knob and fixing it, I straighten my back, feeling a pair of eyes bore into me like I was their last meal..

I try to look out of my window but all I see is a soft white glow. I always wait for the night to shower so I am less likely to see anything unpleasant, thankfully my window for my shower isn't able to see past my collarbone.

I ignore it and finish showering, walking into my room and get dressed, still feeling chills over my body.

I look through the window and see a shadow quickly move behind a tree, no sound came from it. I turn on a movie and chill with Sheva, she knows it's bedtime.

I see her walk towards the window and start trying to claw at the curtain.

"Sheva." I groan, I walk over to get her and pick her up. She's still trying to get the curtain, I open it for her and see a shadow in the distance, the glowing orb..?

I had just cast a protection spell on my house, what is the deal? I go back to lay on my bed as Sheva is behind the curtain. I could see a sliver of outside considering my bed was against the wall, I close my eyes and try to ignore the anxiety. I wake up in a cold sweat, I turn on my phone to see the time..."3 am" I whisper to myself then sigh. I lay back down, looking through my window and see the glowing orb, it felt comforting the more I stared at it..alluring and lustful.

I tried going back to bed but I couldn't close my eyes, all I could do was stare as it got closer to my window, it looked like it was hovering towards me.

As the figure slowly revealed itself in the moonlight all I could make out was the skull paint. His eye was glowing white, as he started getting closer the feelings started getting stronger, I needed more of him, whatever he was doing to me I needed it.

He stood right outside of my window, down at me. All I could do was stare back, hoping and waiting for the night to end...
