Percabeth

The Rehearsal.

Annabeth's POV

Percy and I are getting ready for the Wedding Rehearsal and Dinner. I wear a dress that stops mid-thigh. It has thin straps, and the dress is light blue. It's lower cut in the front and I'm a little self conscious. But it's all I had.

I walk over to our car, we recently purchased our own car instead of having Argus drive us everywhere. It's a little more dangerous but we felt like it was best to make that decision.

Percy is already sitting in the drivers seat, he refuses to let me drive. I find it quite sexist. I climb in and he's wearing skinny jeans, and a button down shirt that's a nice navy color.

I see him glance at me and I blush. I knew it was too revealing, I've had this dress since I was fifteen and since then I've developed more.

He starts the car and we're on our way.

When we arrive I gasp at the scenery, I've never seen where our wedding will be performed at in person, only pictures.

There are trees surrounding the whole area which I found out there will be white and grey ribbon hanging from them. Then I see the Gazebo with flowers hanging from it.

It's all way too pretty. Percy leans into my ear and whispers "I want to make this perfect for you, and only you." I smile and take his hand as we go over what will be happening during the wedding.

-The Dinner After-
We can all fit at two tables combined, Percy and I in the middle, our parents to the sides, then extended family after them. This will also be how it is during the wedding. Except it won't be my step mom sitting next to my dad, it will be Athena. And same with Percy and his mom.

We chat amongst ourselves and I keep glancing at Percy when he starts laughing really hard or when he makes a stupid joke. I admire that he is always happy even when so much is going on.

I excuse myself from the dinner and step outside. I needed fresh air, I'm getting overwhelmed. I start to climb a tree that I guessed was the tallest.

When I reach the top I find a branch that can hold my weight. I lay against it and close my eyes. I'm getting married Saturday, and today is Thursday. I don't know if it's just me that would be getting over whelmed? Because it seems pretty unreal.

I hear rustling and I look down to find Percy climbing up the tree to meet me. I take his hand and help pull him up. "Why'd you leave?" He asks me.

"I needed air. But nothings wrong, it's just really crazy to think that this is happening in a few days. To be with the one I love forever." I look into his sea green eyes. "I feel the same, but I'm not that nervous. I'm excited." He grins.

"I'm excited too." I kiss him and he climbs closer to me, to where he's supporting his weight on his elbows.

"I love you so much, Annabeth." He whispers into my ear. It sends chills down my back and raises goosebumps on my arms.

"Let's go somewhere." He quickly says to me. I stare at him "Where?" "Let's take a walk through the city."

So at that we climb down the tree and start our walk.
