I'm Engaged Now

Percy told me to get dressed up, it's pizza...but what ever, I'm just glad we're getting out for alone time. I'm in my bathroom and I apply my fancy makeup. When I use this stuff, I look so pretty. I don't even look like me. And I have on a red dress that stops about mid-thigh. It has sleeves going down to my elbow. This dress, as Piper has told me, it makes me look curvy. My hair is naturally curly, so I just comb through it and scrunch it up a little bit, spray some hair spray, and I'm done. I walk up to the hill where Percy stands in a tuxedo and a bundle of flowers. He looks so handsome I blush when he looks from my face to my legs, and back up. I walk to him and he grins "You look so beautiful, I'm not even kidding, like, you're stunning" I look down, shyly. "And same to you" I smile at him. "Shall we?" I nod, too speechless. He opens the door for me and I slip in the seat he smiles and closes the door, he's so sweet and serious tonight. He gets in and starts the car, he holds out his hand for me, I take it. We drive in silence. It's not an awkward, rude silence though, it's romantic. He pulls in to the pizza parlor. He holds the door open for and leads me to a table. Pizza and champagnes a given to us as soon as we sit down, we didn't even order though... I take a sip of the champagne, it's really sweet. "I can't believe how beautiful you are, and you're my girlfriend. I am most certainly the most lucky guy in the world." He holds my hand under the table, he traces small circles on the top of my hand. My eyes widen when I see what's across the street. It's a monument! It is the twelve Olympians. The architecture is such a work of art, I'm awestruck, this is absolutely amazing. Percy must notice, because he giggles at me, "you're adorable" I don't look at him, I'm studying the art.

We start heading home eventually, I tell Percy about the structure and he just smiles and nods. He doesn't understand it though, but he never does. "Do you feel that?" He asks me, I look at him "No....what is it?" I ask. "Let me pull over, I think we have a flat tire." Ugh, really? And our night was so perfect. He gets out and walks around the car and I hear him looking around then he knocks on my window. "Hey, can you come out? I need help" He then walks back to the tire. How can I help? I get out and find Percy on his knee with a small box in his hand, I take a step back, flabbergasted. "Percy..." I stammer. "Annabeth, I don't think you know how much I love you. When we met, I found you beautiful and now you're just crazily gorgeous. You annoyed me though, with your smart ass remarks. But I learned to love them, and to love you. Will you marry me?" Is this really happening? Is this a dream? "Oh my gods, yes, Percy! Percy y-yes" I cover my mouth because my voice starts shaking and tears fill my eyes. He slips the ring on my finger and it fits perfectly. It has a gray diamond and a sea green jewel in the center. I look from the ring to Percy and he kisses me, hard. I kiss him back, gods, I love him. He puts his hand on my hip and the other on the small of my back, pulling me closer to him as we kiss. I pull away slowly, but not wanting to "We need to get back" I whisper rubbing my lips together.
