They go to the spot where they used to go when they were still in high school – a viewpoint near the forest on a city panorama. It's quiet and calm but they're anything but that. In the beginning – when they got into Mrs. Min's car – they were awkward once again (Yoongi had no idea what was going on and really didn't expect it), but then the radio played Jingle Bell Rock so they started to sing along as loud as they could and it was like much-needed time-travel back to being seventeen and carefree once again, chaotic, wild and as messy as the mud on Yoongi's truck tires.

Now it's nice. They're sitting in the vehicle, drinking hot chocolate out of thermos that Tae brought with him, remembering the old days as well as telling each other about the last seven years. Yoongi tells the younger about Los Angeles – all of the people he met, weird jobs he had, terrible apartments he lived in. In return Tae tells about his photography and paintings, peculiar clients he worked for, drunk adventures and tough sober mornings. They talk about music (they spend so much time on this).

Art. Books. Films.

They both cried on Call me by your name and they both have a crush on Timothee Chalamet.

"It's embarrassing to admit but I even wrote a song inspired by this movie, you know?" Yoongi feels how his cheeks are turning red, but then again, if there's a person in this world he would ever say something humiliating to – he's sitting right next to him at that very moment. Tae of course doesn't laugh at him, instead nods with understanding.

"Don't worry. I did so many drawings of both Elio and Oliver it almost took all of my sketchbook. But this whole movie is just so aesthetic, isn't it? It makes you want to create."

"It is! And back then I had a huge writer's block or maybe just lack of inspiration, that I just had to- you know - and beggars can't be choosers."

"That's a good way to describe it," Taehyung laughs. "But it's kinda surprising to me. You never had a problem with inspiration."

That might still be true when Yoongi was young and in love and full of dreams too big for his black-haired head. But Los Angeles is a cruel world for ambitious yet inexperienced producers from South Korea.

"I want to send a positive message to people that listen to my music. It was fun writing diss tracks with Hobi, you know. I still love all parts of our Cypher series-"

"I love Cypher!" Tae jumps on his seat with excitement, not caring that he just cut into the middle of Yoongi's sentence. "I remember when I was listening to those songs every night in bed for like few months and just thinking agh, my Hyungs are so cool"

"We weren't" Min's embarrassed once again.

"You were and I was pissed at you because you didn't let me rap" the younger pouts and Yoongi thinks his heart is too weak for that boxy shit.

"Tae" he pauses, turning himself so he can look at the boy's face. "I'm telling you this with all my honesty and sympathy towards you – you're a terrible rapper." Taehyung tries to pretend like he's offended but then laughs so Yoongi follows him with it.

"I was trying, okay? But continue. This thing about a positive message."

"Oh, yeah, right. So like I said, writing angry songs was fun, you know? But then I met with this other producer and we had a talk and he asked me – who do you wanna be as an artist? How do you want to be remembered? And that if I ever make it, I have to know that people would listen to my songs and learn from them and they're gonna have an impact and it's my task to choose what impact I wanna have. So since then I'm just trying with this whole – like I said – positive message thing, but I guess, it's not that easy when you're not a very positive-minded person." He shrugs. "But I'm still trying."
