Part 16

After Luna wandered off with Edward, we spent some time showing Pansy around, though because of how small Forks is, there wasn't much to see, nonetheless, she enjoyed it. We apparated back home with multiple shrunken down shopping bags. As we approached the front door, my enhanced hearing picked up rapid footprints, running through the forest. I held back a growl and gestured for Ginny to focus on her hearing, as she did so, I could see her eyes glow amber.

"We will be back Pans, make yourself at home" she let out a dramatic groan and entered the house, the moment she was out of sight, we used our vamp speed to chase after the red-haired vampire.

"Come and get me" Victoria sang as we ran after her, jumping over broken down trees and ducking under low branches. We also used our wolf senses and abilities to push us further, though the red-haired vamp seemed to be much faster than normal vampires.

"I'm going to snap this bitches neck" Ginny hissed in anger as her fingers skimmed against Victoria's shirt, though the vampire jumped up a tree at the last second. Suddenly, we were accompanied by a familiar Jaguar, who was growling and snarling beside us. What we didn't expect, was for the Cullens to be right behind us and they seemed even more shocked and confused than we did.

"I've got her" a muscular figure shouted from beside me, he ran further ahead but had to stop abruptly as she jumped across the border to La Push. Distant howls were heard, signalling that the pack were hot on her trail.

"Well, we'll leave it to the pack" I sighed with a shrug. Luna transformed back and rushed over to hug us.

"You're not hurt are you?" She questioned in concern as she scanned my figure for any cuts or bruises. I let out a giggle and placed a kiss on her forehead, she instantly calmed down as I pushed some of my magic into her direction.

"Thank you" she sighed in relief, causing me to giggle once again. Someone cleared their throat from behind us and as we turned, we noticed the Cullen family watching us with caution.

"Who is that red-haired bitch, no offence Gin, and why is she being a pain in the ass?" I questioned in frustration with my arms crossed over my chest, Ginny waved off the comment but seems interested in knowing who she also is.

"Victoria, Edward killed her mate after she attacked Bella. She has been after her ever since" A beautiful woman with blonde hair announced with an eye roll, clearly not happy with the fact that her brother risked his life for Bella.

"I say we let Victoria eat her," Ginny said with a raised hand, though when everyone looked at her with either amusement or disapproval, she sighed dramatically and lowered her hand.

"I guess not"

"Your vampires" Edward stated with a tone of shock, I raised an eyebrow and shrugged my shoulders.

"Partly"

"How can you only be part vampire?" the girl I recognised as Alice questioned in curiosity.

"We weren't turned the normal way, we were turned as part of an experiment. We don't need blood to survive, but we have all the side effects of vampirism" To say they were shocked is an understatement, they were glancing at Ginny and me like we were completely bazaar.

"Look, we will explain-" all of a sudden, I was engulfed in excruciating pain. My right arm felt as if it was on fire and a stabbing pain hit my ribs, making me hunch over as I screamed.

"Hermione! Hermione, what is it?" Ginny shouted as she tried to get my attention. I knew instantly that something happened to one of the wolves, and the urge to protect increased tenfold. A loud howl escaped my mouth as my eyes glowed Amber, the vampires jumped back in fear whilst Luna and Ginny let out howls of their own. Before I knew it, I was running full speed through the forest, following the scent of my mate and pack.
