Someone suggested more Megan imagines and it's crazy that I haven't done one since literally my first one.

You've been dating Megan for a few months, and after a bit of coaxing, you finally got her to agree to come to see you in Los Angeles. She booked her flight, agreed to stay with you, and the weeks leading up to her arrival were full of excitement as you both discussed what you would do while she was in your city.

At some point over the last couple days, a switch flipped inside of her and she's been different. This morning you texted her that you were at the airport to pick her up at the time her flight landed, and when she responded almost an hour later, it wasn't what you had hoped for. She just dryly told you that she'd meet up for lunch later because she wanted to talk to me about something.

So a few hours later, you find yourself sitting at a two-person table in the corner of The Cheesecake Factory with drinks, a basket of warm bread, and an agitated Megan sitting across from you.

Your POV

"So, do you wanna explain to me what this little attitude is about or are you just gonna sit here scowling until your face gets stuck?" I calmly inquired as I ripped a small chunk of bread off of the larger slice.

In the past I've gently, and sometimes forcefully, prodded her into telling me the truth about how she's feeling, but at this point, she's been careless with my time and feelings, so all that has gone out of the window.

"I don't have a 'little attitude,' I'm pissed," she grumbled before raising her glass of wine to her lips with a glare.

"About?"

Megan rolled her eyes, slowly lowered the glass back onto the laminated tabletop, and said, "I saw you with Lori in the blogs."

I scoffed in disbelief. I felt blindsided considering that she happens to be a mutual friend of ours who I've never expressed interest in. On Lori's side, all it would take is a quick google search to see that she's not checking for me either.
