welcome back mr munson (eddie munson x y/n)

part 1

"thats disgusting mike." i say rolling my eyes and continuing to eat.
"what? no it's not!" mike yells throwing a rolled up napkin at me. i grab the napkin to throw it back at him only for mom to grab my hand and take it out.
"that's enough, you guys are going to be late" she says quite frankly. i glare at mike and pick up my plate to put it in the sink, then grab my stuff and keys. "LETS GO GUYS" i yell at mike and nancy. mom just laughs and shakes her head slightly. they finally came out and rushed to the car. i sigh "..bye mom, dad..bye holly" i wave at them, smiling and heading out the door.
"oh shit-" i dropped everything and ran back inside. i ran to my room to get my lighter and hellfire shirt. how can i forget these?? i shake my head and finally leave for school.
"nance do you have a ride after school ? me and mike have D&D" i ask parking the car perfectly in between the lines. "uhm, yes if not i'll just wait for you guys" she says getting her stuff in a hurry. mike also gets his stuff in a hurry and they both run to class. "we're not even that la- OH MY GOSHH" i looked at my watch, it was 8:14am. i quickly freshen up and grab my stuff and go to class.
<<only 5 minutes after the bell>>
"so nice of you to join us wheeler" my english teacher says sarcastically.
"yea yea" i say not looking at anyone and take my seat in front of someone i haven't seen before. i noticed everyone had pencils so i reached to get mine only to not have one. geez what was with me today..
i turned around to ask the guy behind me if he had a pencil. i was astonished by him. he had long curly hair, pretty brown eyes and a hellfire shirt ??! i snapped out of it.
"hi um, d-do you have a pencil i can borrow?" i sounded so stupid but he shook his head yes and gave me a pencil and smirked at me. i turned bright red and faced forward for the lesson to start.
<<after class>>
"hey here's the pencil, thank you" i smiled warmly giving it to him.
"oh, you can keep it princess" he said smiling then walked away.
i stood there very still and turned red, AGAIN, processing what he just said i went to my next class.
<<time skip to end of the day>>
who was he? why can't i get him out of my head? i walked to the car to wait for mike which felt like 20 minutes.
"what the hell mike? what took so long?" i asked. "well eddie hasn't been here and we forgot to tell him we moved D&D to a different room" he says
eddie? who's eddie? i then see the same boy who gave me the pencil in english. my eyes widen and i freeze up.
"fancy seeing you here darling" he says coming closer to me, smirking
"hey hey HEY! eddie that's my SISTER!!" mike yells being an overprotective brother and getting in between me and eddie.
eddie backs up and pats mikes head
"relax, i was just saying hello" he says smiling slightly at me. i look away before i blush.
"right so..can we start?" dustin asks breaking the silence. we all laugh and head inside to start the game.
<<hours later>>
"and that's how you win!!" eddie says while bowing. we all groan.
"cmon man you ALWAYS win even when you're not here" dustin says crossing his arms.
"well, no because y/n is also a good player" he adds.
"is that so?" eddie asks glancing at me. "well that's a game for next time"
i stay quiet and let the guys catch up, i step out and roll myself a blunt. i light it and take a hit. leaning against my car i look up at the sky.
"so" someone says from behind me i turn quickly about to knock them out then stop when i see who it is.
"DUDE WHAT THE HELL ??! I COULDVE KNOCKED YOU OUT" i yelled at him.
"SORRY SORRY i just wanted to see where you went" eddie says putting his arms down from a defensive stance.
i smack my lips. then take another hit. i look over at him and he looks like he's admiring me. i try to hide my smile by asking if he wants to hit it. he says yes and we smoked in silence for a little then we start talking.
"so you're the infamous missing eddie" i mock
he laughs. gosh his laugh is so cute.
"heh yea i guess you can say that- you're y/n wheeler huh?"
"yessir" i laugh, "too bad you're my brothers friend otherwise..actually nevermind" i shake it off. i can tell he knows i'm an anxious person.
the doors open.
"really y/n? at school??" mike sighs as he sees the blunt in my hand. i look down and realized i told him i wouldn't smoke at school. i put it out quickly. "i'm sorry mike, i promise it won't happen again"
eddie looks at us trying to put together why i cant smoke in front of mike or the school.
"it's a long story" dustin tells eddie as he stands next to him.
<<flashback>>
"y/n wheeler im gonna need to search your car" officer powell says looking annoyed.
"what? for what exactly??" i ask confused
"step out please. you too mike"
we do as instructed. i am screwed. so screwed. WHYD IT HAVE TO BE THE SAME DAY I WENT TO ARGYLE'S?!
"wheeler im gonna have to take you in for carrying substances" he says taking out handcuffs. "YOU CANT TAKE HER!" mike shouts. "it's okay mike.." i say forcing a smile and get put in the police car"
<<end of flashback>>
mike gets in the car waiting to go home. i said bye to everyone and got in. i felt bad so i took him to his favorite arcade and food place. i called mom letting her know i have mike and that we are just going to be home a little late. i went to go sit with mike to eat. he looked at me all serious.
"do you like eddie?" he asks. i look at him.
"what?! of course not silly! i barely know him" i laugh nervously. he shrugs. "well i want to know when you do" he says then grabs a slice of pizza. i sit there thinking..do i like him? i just met him..but he's so..dreamy.
