Imagine: You come home from work to Penny hiding something behind her back
You had just gotten home from a long day from work and are now entering the door of your shared house with none other that the Pretty Penny herself.
As you walk in you hear Penny shuffling and quickly running to the couch, which is the vision you are met with when you open the door. You immediately notice that she has her hands behind her back, and you get a little bit suspicious.
"Hey, Love bug. Whatcha doin'?" You ask.
"Oh, nothing. I just got home from running some errands so..." She trails off with an adorable smile.
"Ok then." You reply, still curious as to what she's holding behind her back. You set down your bag and all of your items on the ottoman before stripping yourself of your jacket. Penny looks nervous as you near the couch, but continues smiling.
You sit down on the couch next to her and she turns her body to face you'd, arms still hidden behind her back.
"Can I ask you something?"
"Sure." She replies with a nervous gulp.
"What's behind your back?"
She blushes and says "Nothing." Drawing out the sound of the 'i'.
"Penny." You warn, getting closer.
"Okay! Fine, it's a kitten!" She breaks, pulling her arms out from behind her back. In her hands, you see the cutest kitten ever. It's a calico with the softest eyes.
"Awww. Penny, where did you even find this little girl?" You ask, while still adoring the kitten.
"I saw him abandoned in a cardboard box on the side of the road. It was raining and I couldn't just leave her there," she says with a pouty lip. "I've already taken her to the vet and they prescribed her some medication. Also I named her Reece's."
You chuckle at her cuteness before talking again. "Are you sure we can handle a kitten? I mean we both work pretty busy schedules."
"Yeah! We can make it work, right Y/N?" She asks with puppy eyes, that you just can't refuse.
"Fine," you huff.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She says giving you a tight hug, with Reece's still in her hands.
You cuddle up on the couch and turn on 'The Good Place'. Kissing eachother and whispering sweet sentients to each other all while petting the sleeping kitten.
