I walked down the empty halls, my hand tracing the wall. Eerie silence overtook the lab, that silence soon cut short due to the blaring of the sirens and the crackling of the intercom coming to life. Gunshots rang throughout the halls and the lab, guards, scientists running around. As I turned the corner, I froze. Dead bodies strewn across the hall, lights flickering. Blood stained the walls, an iron smell in the air. I noticed each body had their eyes blown out like a light bulb as I walked past them. I refocused my eyes forward, walking over debris and bodies. I rounded another corner, feeling the energy seeping through the doors of the rainbow room. I tread slowly towards the room, bracing for whatever, or whoever is behind that door. I placed my hand on the door, closing my eyes before pushing open the door. Walking through the doors, I see a blurry figure in front of me, talking to a much shorter figure. I felt a fire of frustration bubbling inside me, unable to recognize the people before me. I watched as the two converse with each other, the atmosphere growing more tense, the energy continuously growing. Soon my frustration boils over to concern for the shorter figure, coming to my senses that the taller, ominous figure is dangerous....

    ??? POV

I walked the halls of the lab, my eyes quickly scanning over the same bare doors, every so often looking at the cameras. Spotting the door, I grabbed my keys, slipping the silver key into the lock, turning it slightly, entering the room. I closed the door behind me, my eyes meeting the various file cabinets littered around the office. Randomly choosing a cabinet, I pulled open the drawer, flicking through the different folders. My fingertips soon stopped at a folder labeled '004'. I picked the manila folder up, throwing it at the desk. I turned around, flipping open the folder, various photos and papers falling out onto the desk.

"How precious..." I mumbled to no one in particular, as I picked up the baby photo of 004. I placed the photo back, grabbing another photo. I tenderly ran my thumb over the polaroid, my lips curled into a small smile. I shook my head, placing the photo back down, picking up an information sheet.

Subject : 004

Name : (L/N), (Y/N)

Age : 17

Date of birth : San Francisco, California

Mother - (L/N), (M/N) - deceased

Father - (L/N), (F/N) - deceased

Description : (Y/N)'s parents had abandoned the young girl when she was just a toddler. They had both realized that the young girl was gifted with powers such as telekinesis, mind control, and being able to tell the future. The parents were fear stricken by their daughter, leading them to abandon the girl at the side of the highway, where cops will later find her. A few years had passed, before we took (Y/N) underneath our wing at Hawkins Lab. Hearing word that her parents wanted to win back custody of her, which was quickly shut down as they suddenly disappeared. L̶å̶†̶ê̶r̶ ̶ß̶ð̶†̶h̶ ̶þ̶å̶r̶ê̶ñ̶†̶§̶ ̶w̶ê̶r̶ê̶ ̶£̶ð̶µ̶ñ̶Ð̶ ̶§̶h̶ð̶†̶ ̶Ð̶ê̶å̶Ð̶ ̶ï̶ñ̶ ̶†̶h̶ê̶ï̶r̶ ̶ð̶w̶ñ̶ ̶h̶ð̶m̶ê̶,̶ ̶ ̶Ð̶ð̶ñ̶ê̶ ̶ß̶¥̶ ̶ñ̶ð̶ ̶ð̶†̶h̶ê̶r̶ ̶†̶h̶å̶ñ̶ ̶Ð̶r̶.̶ ̶ß̶r̶ê̶ñ̶ñ̶ê̶r̶...̶.̶  Unfortunately, she cannot control when she wants to tell the future, it happens suddenly in her dreams. But she has controlled her telekinesis and mind control, and uses them at her own will.

I placed the papers neatly back into the folder, putting the folder away in the filing cabinet. I shut the cabinet, turned off the lights of the office and stepped back out into the hall. I locked the door, and went straight to the rainbow room...

I felt tears stream down my face as I watched the poor figure get strangled in the air.   I walked up to the devil incarnate, in hopes of preventing an unfair death. But to my avail, nothing worked. I was just a mere shadow, non existent, useless. As I was about to sit down, I fell through the floor, falling into an endless void...

I heard an intangible beeping noise, finally coming to my senses, I opened my eyes. Light flooded my eyes as I groggily rubbed my eyes to wake up. Feeling sluggish, I got out of the bed, ripping the IV out of my arm. Shivers ran up my spine as my feet made contact with the icy cold floor. I walked out into the empty halls, expecting to be greeted with the smell of blood and bodies. But to my surprise, it was empty, free of bodies and blood. My nerves slightly died down as I walked towards the rainbow room, anxiety still rising in my chest as I reached the doors. I held my breath and pushed open the doors. I opened my eyes to be greeted with the other test subjects and prisoners held here, alive. I huffed out a sigh of relief, the anxiety leaving me as I let out the sigh. I feel the eyes of the children avert their gaze away from me, continuing their activities. Before I could relax, 'Papa' shoved open the doors

    "Time for today's lessons, children!,"
