*New Hideout island*
We had just arrived at our final destination, according to Sokka, until the day of invasion on the Fire Lord. It was the dead of night as we landed and walked through the bushes into a field of Koala Sheep grazing and sleeping.
Sokka: *smiles* This is it, the official rendezvous point for the invasion force.
(Y): *surprised* Definitely peaceful and empty. And we have plenty of "security" *motions to Koala Sheep*
Toph: *confused* How did you pick this place?
Sokka: Before we split up, my dad and I found this island on a map. It's uninhabited, and the harbor surrounded by cliffs seemed like the perfect secluded place.
Katara: *smiles* Nice choice, Sokka. And we're here 4 days ahead of schedule.
Aang: *shocked* Wait, 4 days?! The invasion's in 4 days?! *panicking*
Sokka: *yawns* Whatever, that's like *holds up 4 fingers* 4 days from now. *lays down* Let's just calm down and *passes out from exhaustion*
Katara: *concerned* Sokka's got the right idea, Aang. We're here, we're ready. The best thing we can do now is get plenty of rest.
(Y): *forms body shaped crater and fills with Koala Sheep wool he sheered off* Way ahead of you, sister. *falls back into wool*
Aang: *anxious* I guess.
We all then went to sleep as the day of flying was put behind us. The soft Koala Sheep wool helped me rest on an otherwise rough ground. Sure I was used to sleeping in the dirt and the rocks, but sometimes you got to enjoy the little luxuries life can give you. Of course, Aang's worried outburst did get me thinking. We are only a few days away from our attack on not only the Fire Nation, but the Fire Lord himself. While ultimately it will be Aang who takes him out, he will be counting on us to back him up just like we will be counting on him to finish off the Fire Lord. After all of our training, Aang has mastered 3 of the 4 elements, or at the very least is very skilled at using them. And once we do take down the Fire Nation, we will save Ba Sing Se and the Earth Kingdom as a whole. But that also begs the question, what will we do after that? I mean Toph and I will probably return to Gaoling, and perhaps live our lives from there, but what about Sokka and Katara, or even Aang for that matter? Will we all separate? Will we stay together?......I don't want to lose these new friends I've gotten to know and love. These thoughts stayed with me as I drifted off to sleep, wondering what will happen to all of us after the war has ended.
*Timeskip*
It was a new day, and it was off to a good start because instead of being awoken peacefully, my sleep was interrupted by the sounds of harsh thuds and pounding against a tree, both ringing in my ears and causing vibrations in the ground. It turns out I wasn't the only one, because soon Toph, Katara, and Sokka all woke up. Katara, being the motherly person she was, was the first one to get up and check on Aang, and probably the best choice, as I would have maybe put him underground for waking us all up.
Katara: *concerned* Hey, how long have you been up?
Aang: *strained* A couple hours. I got a lot more skills to refine if I'm going to fight Ozai.
Katara: *concerned* You know, there is such a thing as overtraining.
(Y): *blunt, shouting* Or annoying others with your training!
