[Iris]

A subtle warmth.

That's what woke her up.

A periodic warmth, blown into the back of her neck. Barry's arms were wrapped around her naked middle and with each inhale she felt his bare chest press firmly against her back. It was a sense of comfort unlike any she'd ever felt before. A feeling of security...

Of home.

Iris closed her eyes and sank further into his embrace, fitting herself into his curled shape. She breathed in, content, and that's when it began.

A little prickle in her heart. A sudden flutter that started off as nothing but grew with each breath, with each vivid memory she had of the evening they'd shared.

The shock in his eyes when he picked her up. The surprise set up he put together on the roof top. The feeling of his lips exploring every inch of her quivering body.

The breathy "I love you."

Iris's eyes shot open but she caught herself in time to keep a loud gasp at bay. She laid still for a moment, confirming that Barry was still sound asleep. Satisfied that she hadn't disturbed his slumber, Iris slipped out of his embrace, ever so slowly then silently made her way around the room gathering her things.

Her dress hung over the back rest of his study chair and she slipped it on swiftly. It was still damp from the previous nights downpour and clung to her uncomfortably, but Iris barely noticed.

Her focus was solely on the goal of getting the hell out of there even though, if she stopped for a second, her body and soul would war with her to stay. And they had a real shot at winning.

That was the problem.

For the first time in her life she was tempted to stay. She had a reason to stay. A feeling she couldn't quite explain. And that realization frightened her because it went against her earlier assumptions.

It completely destroyed her plan to bed him and keep him around as a toy. Till that point she'd thought that all those unexplained feelings would all go away once she got him out of her system.

But 3 orgasms later and she was no closer to walking away. If anything, the intimate exchange seemed to have worsened the situation.

It was unlike any sexual encounter she'd had before. And she'd had more than Herr fair share of memorable nights. But none left her that blissful on all levels of her being.

Emotionally, physically and mentally she was floating. As light as a feather and hypersensitive if the way her body acted to Barry's sleep babble/moan is anything to go by.

The sound sent chills through her and got an embarrassingly instant reaction from her core. It was maddening, between that his breath waking her up and the feel of his bare skin on hers she was just as worked up as if she hadn't gotten laid in weeks.

Taking deep breaths, Iris calms herself down and walks out of the room as quietly as humanly possible. And since no walk of shame is truly completely without a knowing audience, she comes face-to-face with Cisco who freezes with his coffee cup half way to his mouth when he sees her. His wide eyed expression heats her cheeks and she prays that the early morning light is dim enough for him not to be able to see her blush.
