As soon as I heard that I couldn't stop questioning who that mysterious voice was and why he didn't want me to leave the tower. I was so upset someone I didn't even know was forcing me to stay in the tower I spent almost 18 years in, so I eagerly opened the bathroom door and saw my father on a rectangular object with light coming out of it.
I was so confused I just heard another person but where were they? Maybe his difference had to do with that object in his father's hands! So, without any more thought, I angrily walked toward him and snatched the object from his hand.
I was closely examining it and saw the top said AFO, was that a code or something? I was suddenly taken from my thoughts when I heard the unfamiliar voice say "hello? hello? Kurogiri you there? what was all that noise?" My eyes widen in confusion, what? this wasn't a reporting device for a quick escape? then what is it, and why does it speak? how many secrets is his father keeping from me? I feel so betrayed and before I knew it tears were falling down my face.
My whole life we promised not to keep secrets from each other since it was just me and him and now, I find out that he has been keeping secrets. I finally look up to see my father's worried and sad eyes. finally, I say, "just how much have you lied about?", after I said that I hear the AFO object say "oh shit" and then a beeping noise.
After the object looked a bit different but I didn't care at that moment, I just kept looking at my father with tears trailing down my face. He finally spoke saying "you need an explanation, come with me"I was kinda scared, I had never in my life heard him sound so serious but I was so mad that I didn't care and just stood there with tears coming down my face.
All of a sudden I felt his hands wrap around me, at first I tried to fight it but after a few minutes I hugged back and cried harder. Everything I was ever told in my life could be a lie, even the most important rule of not being allowed to cut my hair.
When I was finally done crying he lead me to the couch and sat down ready to find out why he has been lying to me. He had a blank expression but his eyes looked sad. He finally spoke and said "I'm sorry son...." he sighed and was about to talk again when we heard something outside.
