So Long and Good Night, Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds / Julia on the run

Author's POV

12:05 am

Seth informed Rhys and Nala that the group tied up Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds. The couple held each other's hand and walked to the group and stood in their place.

Nala's POV

We were standing in front of the married couple ready to purge. I was a little nervous. That's until we said the prayer while holding each other's hand.
" Blessed be our New Founding Fathers for letting us Purge and cleanse our souls. Blessed be America, a nation reborn "
We looked at each other from our left to our right and slowly picked up our weapon which was a machete.
We waited for 20 seconds and began killing the couple. I felt energetic watching the couple bleed to death. After the couple stopped squirming, we stayed quiet. We felt so relieved but that's until I had to grab something from Julia's room which was the books she stole from me.

Author's POV

Rhys told his group to prepare Nala's gift. The purgers took hold of Julia but suddenly lost their grip. The purgers had to let Rhys know the slut-pig ran off to find sanctuary. Nala kept searching for her books and that's until she found them. Rhys walked upstairs to look for his lover. He stayed quiet knowing he might scare her.

Nala's POV

Found the books I needed so I grabbed them and put them in my backpack. I felt a hand on my shoulder I turned around quickly thinking it was Julia but turns out to be Rhys. "Sorry sweetheart, I didn't mean to startle you. May I ask, why are you in your bully's room?" "I was looking for the books Julia stole from me.." "So she was a stealing girl too? " "Apparently so." 

He looked at me but that's until Seth was behind him.

"Leader, we've got a problem. Our target escaped us. They ran to Nala's house" "Seth, please go gather the group and tell them to meet us outside her house. Nala and I will be there in a few minutes, thank you" So Seth walked out of the room and told his friends to walk to my house.

Author's POV

So Seth and his family/friends walked to Nala's house and stood there patiently waiting for their leader and his lover.

Julia knocked on the front door and was acting all scared and crying. She planned to hide in the Sandin's house so Nala could kill the family but ends up dying by Julia.
Mrs. Sandin looked outside and saw Julia.
"Julia, why are you outside during the purge?" "Mary, I need somewhere to hide. Your daughter is planning on purging me tonight. My parents are dead and I'm scared. Please, I won't hurt you all" Mary's mind was racing thinking about letting her in or not.
That's until James called for his wife. She let Julia in and told her to wait in the living room while she tells James.

James's POV

12:20 am

I waited for Mary and that's when I heard her footsteps. She told me about Julia staying with them but I told her that Julia can't be in this house.
