The cellar was completely dark not that it mattered to Hikari who was not affected by lighting conditions in the slightest. However, he did take notice of how clean it was underneath the cellar everything seemed to be spotless. Hikari slowly made his way throughout the cellar taking note of all the barrels of liquid being stored down there. It was a weird experience, to say the least even Hikari felt on edge in the presence of the cellar. Though eventually, he came to a simple wooden door and tested the doorknob finding it was unlocked he slowly opened it. His vision didn't allow him to see through barriers like physical walls and the like so when his senses exploded into the room he froze in his tracks.
The room was a simple one clearly designed with one purpose in mind, to contain and restrain god-like power. Sophie was chained to the walls floor and ceiling and power exploded out of her like a damn on the verge of collapse. Her eyes were completely engulfed in purple light. Though the cries of agony that escaped her mouth were quite possibly the most painful sight for Hikari, how he had not heard the screaming and crying from just another foot away eluded him. "Oh company," a voice echoed in Hikari's mind before a hand pressed against his chest thrusting him away from Sophie. Somehow once again Hikari's sense had failed him. Who he was looking at now was a large human that seemed to be about as wide as he was tall and pure muscle. He had long flowing blonde hair, and although Hikari couldn't tell his eyes were a bright blue. Hikari hardened his resolve when he saw the large V inscribed on the front of the men's armor, marking him as a disciple of Virgil.
"Ah is that where the rest of Percival's power is stored, did you take over another being to save yourself just as the heavenly said," the mysterious man taunted Percival. "Hikari I want you to know that was not..." Perceval tried to communicate with Hikari however the surprising emptiness of Hikari's mind caused the words to die on his lips. "Thank you," was all that Perceval received over the mental connection between himself and Hikari. "What you don't have anything to say demon," the man continued to taunt as he walked closer to Hikari.
"I haven't been called that in a while I think it still has a nice ring to it," Hikari countered stopping the man in his tracks for a second. "Enough talk I Vincenzo High Preist of Virgil shall end you, an avatar of the accursed one Percival, and bring an end to Percival's torturous existence," the man declared with a self-entitled aura that only served to outline how ignorant he was. The man then took the liberty to flex covering himself in a shower of blue flames. Within only fractions of a second, he was upon Hikari. Even Hikari didn't have much time to react and was only able to move his blade in between the man's fist and his body blocking some of the blows force as it sent him rocketing out of the cellar. Though Hikari didn't let the damage shake him, he quickly recovered mentally while still flying through the air about 50ft off the ground or 60ft from where he was launched. Though the man didn't let that stop him as he jumped up to where Hikari was in mid-air and unleashed another devastating blow sending Hikari into another building about 4 stories up.
Hikari flew through the wall of some sort of residential building crashing through the walls of someone's bedroom, kitchen, and living space. Hikari was thoroughly getting his shit kicked, and he needed to get back in the game. As he stood up he noticed the two adult humans in the bedroom he was currently in who were both shaking in fear in a corner. Slowly Hikari got up brushing the debris from his clothes and taking a second or two to calm himself. "Is there anyone else in-" Hikari started to say to the two adults before he was cut off by the man who wore Virgil's crest as he burst and landed on the same floor as Hikari. "I've trapped you now avatar, I'll level this entire building now and there is no escape for you," the man clamored from down the hall of Hikari as he gazed at him through the handful of holes in the walls.
"You got five seconds Perceval to go find somewhere safe to run to haha," the man laughed aloud as Hikari could see sparks of energy flow around the man's hand. Hikari could easily get outside the radius of whatever attack this man was about to throw, but seeing the faces of fear from those who were around him, his honor wouldn't let him, "That's not the answer," Hikari mumbled to himself before getting into another familiar stance. He was fully bent over in a stance that made it seem like he was ready to bolt at any moment with his hands on the scabbard of his sword and the handle. "Help," the man huddled in the corner said with a shaky voice, "We have a daughter." Bright white light exploded all around Hikari, "I will let no harm befall you or any other person of this town, I swear that on my honor," Hikari stated as he breathed deep despite the lack of his lungs.
(The stance is like this)
"Form 5 Flash Beyond Speed," Hikari said in a voice that echoed throughout the entire building.
Vincenzo's brain could not comprehend the speed it had just moved at, as the feeling was more close to teleportation than moving as he had gone from being on the floor in a building to thousands of feet in the air. "W-what!" Vincenzo exclaimed as blood shot from his mouth. It was at that point that he noticed Hikari who was only about ten or so feet below him as they both began to fall, a trail of light connecting the spot they had left to where they were now.
"DIE!," Vincenzo continued to scream out as he thrust his hand forward. Now Hikari was a swordsman nearly unmatched in technique and skill, however, he was not magic and so dodging something mid-air was not in the realm of possibility, so as the screaming ball of energy came straight for him he did the only thing he could do cut it. Hikari whipped his sword around striking the Mellon-sized ball of white and blue light, and cut it in two.
If the people of the city weren't awake by now the explosion that occurred above the town definitely woke them. It was loud enough it echoed through the sewers clearly and bright enough that the blue and white explosion covered the entire night sky it seemed. Soon after the explosion, a smoking heap could be seen falling to the ground. It landed somewhere in the town creating a massive crater though it seemed to avoid doing any damage to the people who had come outside to see the commotion. Hikari was that heap and thankfully landed in one of the less populated areas though his whole body was sluggish to move now, indicating to him he had taken a lot of damage. As the world returned to his vision he took note of the growing crowd that surrounded him. He also noticed the wooden beam supporting a large building on the brink of collapse.
"Move," Hikari shouted at himself in his own head. "Buddy you better get yourself sorted because we have company," Perceval responded to his internal monologue. Sure enough with another crash that sent vibrations throughout the area, Vincenzo showed up with a large grin on his face. Hikari heard the snap of wood and immediately he rushed to the building behind him the life returning to his limbs for just a moment. He threw himself against the building using most of his remaining strength to support the collapsing building. The building creaked and small debris flaked off of it as, though Hikari kept it from falling on the crowd of people that had stupidly gathered around him. "Oh? You think I won't kill you Perceval because you are saving a few worthless souls now," Vincezo said as he ran up to Hikari.
He slammed fist after fist into the armor that was Hikari's body denting and crushing pieces of it. "GET OUT OF HERE ALREADY!" Hikari shouted at those who were frozen by the sight unfolding before them. The man that fell from the sky and now held a building from crushing them was getting beaten because he refused to move. "FIGHT BACK PERCEVAL FIGHT BACK, COME ON YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THEM," Vincenzo continued to taunt them as he started to throw more damaging punches sending some of the force through Hikari causing the building to break up more and more. This made Hikari lose grip and the building slipped down about a foot, but he caught it shifting his weight to face the man as he held the building against his back his strength waning. It was as the people around stumbled about with that little slip that they listen to Hikari's words the second time. "LEAVE ALREADY OR I'LL KILL ALL OF YOU," with a growl Hikari shouted. Although the threat didn't make any sense considering if he wanted to kill them he wouldn't be the only thing stopping them from dying but the threat easily resonated in the minds of the frazzled people and sent them off running in fear.
"Ah there is the Percival I know," Vincenzo said as he gave Hikari a kick to the chest forcing him to lose his grip as he sent him through the building he was holding. Thankfully everyone had left the radius and all they saw was Hikari get kicked before the building fell atop the two men. Creating a large dust and debris cloud.
