Charles Jackson lay on his bed, tapping his blankets. He'd been assigned taking care of his younger sister, Annalise Jackson, and he was currently getting bored. All Annalise did was babble words and drool.

Typical baby sister.

Right now she lay sleeping in her crib, drooling all over her pillows. Charles sighed. A shadow passed his window. His eyes widened.

He knew for sure that he had to leave, or else he and his sister'd be in trouble. Charles ran to the living room and grabbed his pen and cap.

His parents told that those stuff were very special, though he had no idea why.

He dropped the pen in his pocket and fastened the cap to his belt. After planting a kiss on Annalise's forehead, he raced to the door. He sucked in his breath. He couldn't believe he was leaving his family.

He sighed, opening the door. Charles clenched his pen, running out in the San Fransisco rain.

. . .

He finally stopped at an alley.

"Big mistake," he breathed.

He leaned against a wall, panting. He heard footsteps. Charles thought rapidly. He had two minutes to hide.

1:59

He noticed a box.

1:58

If only he could find some more scraps...

1:57

Charles rummaged with the pieces, making the box bigger and bigger.

1:43

He leaped into the box, staying still for as long as he could. With ADHD, it wasn't easy.

"Jace, you sure about this?" a female voice asked.

"I'm sure, Gray," a male voice replied.

A hand grabbed the box where Charles was hiding. Charles began to uncap his pen. He knew it was stupid, but it was worth a shot.

The hand pulled the box away, and Charles jumped out yelling. The pen turned into a sword, and the two people yelped in surprise.

"Whoa! Calm down!" the boy said.

"Go away!" Charles yelled. The boy grabbed him by the collar. "Let me go!" Charles shouted.

"It's okay, dude," the girl said comfortingly.

Charles growled. "Put me down!"

The boy put him down.

Charles gripped his sword. "Tell me who you are or else!"

The kids hesitated. Then they told him their names.

A/N: What do you think the names are? I will like ur comment if u get it right!
