A/n: this chapter is mostly inspired by "Venti and the return of his bard friend"
p.s. this week is the last week and I still have 30 assignments to do-
EnjoyThey walked towards Mondstat rather peacefully. With a few pointless arguments in between. "I still stand by my word." Vanessa squawked at the three. "Hush you fowl." Andrius rolled his eyes. "I'll agree with Vanessa on this one though." Wendy laughed. "We do stand out a bit too much."
They were nearing the bridge before all three stopped. "Me and Dvalin have no mortal name." Andrius blinked. "Hm, how about.. Eis and.. Drachen?" Vanessa pecked her. "That's too straightforward!" She squawked. "It's not like people will think about the meaning!" The goddess agrued.
"True - But still!" Dvalin offered his arm as a pearch. "Calm down young maiden, although it's straightforward, it won't cause alarm. It is just a name - names can have different meanings that an outsider will not realize." Vanessa didn't look convinced yet she digressed. "If things goes wrong I'll personally make sure you three ascend to Celestia." She flew off Dvalin's hand and waited on the bridge.
"Well, Eis and Drachen, should we get going?" "It feels weird to be referred to in another name..."

"Eis, that is not how you're supposed to hold it." Wendy stared at the wolf's human form holding a claymore by the blade.
Earlier, they passed by the local blacksmith. Andrius spotted a familiar weapon and curiously looked at it. Wanger was intrigued by their outfit and let them hold the claymore.
It was a naive decision, really.
Wendy held the handle and lifted it off Andrius' hands. "This is how you're supposed to hold it." Wendy helped Andrius position his hands to hold the claymore properly. "How I have underestimated the locally known bard! Perhaps with your strength you'll do a better job at blacksmithing than me!" Wanger surprisingly laughed.
They continued to roam around the streets, not buying anything as it won't help them with anything. "..Why are they still here?" Dvalin whispered to Wendy as they passed by Fatui agents. Before Wendy could whisper back, Vanessa already retaliated at the Fatui agents.
"What are you doing, you fowl!" Andrius grabbed Vanessa and held her away from the agents. "Tyrants shall not be tolerated!" She squawked. "You ignorant fools!" One of the agents growled.
"You're lucky we can't kill you in public..." Another muttered. "Wait isn't that boy..."
They laughed amongst themselves. "Hey, is this supposed to happen?" Andrius asked Wendy silently. "It was only a possibility, I didn't think of it much because the possibility of it happening was pretty low..." She grunted, distaste was clear on her face.
"I do hope you two know how to use your fists in a fight..." As she said that one of the agents pulled out a catalyst. "People of Mondstat!" She cackled. "Low and behold your absentee archon in the flesh!" She casted a spell similar to Wendy's spell that she used to show Diluc and Kaeya about what happened.
What was showed made people gasp. The Fatui harbinger no. 8th; La Signora. Wendy clicked her tongue, this of course did not go unnoticed by the agents and the gesture made their grins wider.
La Signora's hand dug deep into Venti's chest, the later's face was a mixture of pain and shock.
Vanessa had enough. She pecked Andrius' hands and assaulted the agent. "Maybe you should've gotten gloves instead of arm guards." Dvalin teased. "Less on arguing more on getting Vanessa to calm down."
Wendy was the one to grab Vanessa this time. The agents got annoyed and charged at Wendy. The goddess let go of Vanessa before spinning and roundhouse kicking one of the agents to the side.
Wendy stood straight and tilted her a bit to the side, silently taunting another agent to step forward. Andrius charged at an agent, kicking their chest and sending them launching to a bench near by. Dvalin punched an agent who was then assaulted by Vanessa yet again.
She sighed slightly tired. "Let's just end this quickly." Her catalyst appeared in her hands and as she was about to cast a spell, Jean intervened.
"What is the meaning of this?" The four along with the Fatui paused and looked over at the acting grandmaster. Wendy blinked before putting her hands up in surrender. "You are nothing more than a pebble to the Tsaritsa!" Shouted the Fatui.
"You abandoned Mondstat!" They shouted. Andrius sighed before punching one of the agents for good measure before stepping close to Wendy. "Can we just throw them out?" Dvalin glared at the agents while Wendy giggled. "Their time is up after all."
"What are you—"
A wind current picked up underneath the agents' feet. Launching them to the air. A stronger wind current then appeared and forced them flying out of Mondstat's wall.
"Venti! What's all of this?" Jean stepped closer. "You're.. LORD BARBATOS?"
'Oh dear...'
