Jasmine

"But-"

"No buts Jasminder. You have to come in tonight or you're fired and I don't want to fire you." My boss explained before hanging up, leaving no room for objections.

I looked at the time and realised I had to be at work in three hours. Not fun. I've trapped myself in this shithole after everything that happened with George a few weeks ago.

We haven't seen each other since which I'm really happy about.

My phone rang just when I got out of the shower as Krishna's name appeared on the screen.

"You feeling okay?"

"Yeah...I'm going to- work."

"What are you doing?"

"Changing." I replied in a muffled voice when I was putting on my t-shirt.

"Are you okay to go to work?"

"Nope. I'm pretty sure if one person complains or raises their voice at me, I will break down"

"Aw babes. You don't have to go if you can't"

"I have to. My boss told me I'm going to get fired if I don't go in because I've already missed way too long and that my excuses aren't working anymore." I sighed.

"Shall I come over and make you something to eat for when you come back?"

"No. I'll be fine."

"You sure?"

"Yes."

"Okay well Kishan is taking me out so I'll be busy babes"

"If you're willing to ditch that then I don't mind you coming over"

I could practically hear her roll her eyes before she hung up with a "Love you."

"-and you tell that little bitch, Jim, that if I don't get my money before eleven then I'm going to fucking kill him and his dog!" Xander raised his voice before hanging up.

Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed-
I need to stop hanging around with white english people. They're brainwashing me.

Xander had- no- has anger issues but you get used to it once you get used to living with him. He's a lovely guy in general. Such a gentlemen but very bipolar.

"I hate it here Krishna. I can't do this anymore." I heard a very familiar voice whisper as I was walking to Jim's office.

I took a left turn instead of a right one and saw my favourite person but she didn't look too happy.

She put her phone in her pocket and looked up at the ceiling gently wiping her eyes and sniffled before walking out the other door before I got the chance to say anything.

So I did what any normal person would do and I stormed into Jim's office.

"Did you say anything to Jas...mine?" I caught him by surprise, making him immediately stand up.

I don't know why I assumed Jim did something but I felt like shouting at him.

"W-what?"

"Jasminder Singh. Did you say something to her?"
