TW in advance. I may or may not have teared up writing this.
Jasmine
So it's been a week. I left the morning after because I didn't want to make it awkward but yeah...I've been going Keerat's house instead and been avoiding Rohan and my guys. I found out Keerat knows about everything too but she is the mother of my niece and nephews so I'm not as mad at her.
"I'll take Ranbir to reception today." I walked into the living room with Ranbir.
Keerat looked at me with a smile "Thank you so much Jasminder." she calmly put Arjun in his playmat by Hardeep's legs.
"I wan' go." Kareena got up from Hardeep's lap. I looked at Hardeep to make sure it's okay she can come and he nodded.
"Unakee topee aur coat par rakho." Keerat called from the kitchen so I helped Kareena put hers on whilst Ranbir did it himself. (Put their hats and coats on.)
"What time does Rahul start?" I asked, putting on my shoes.
"I think he's supposed to be leaving in a bit. Ranbir, apana bag mat bhoolana." Keerat walked in with Kareena's scarf. (don't forget your bag.)
"I'm not." Ranbir replied. I put Kareena in her pushchair as Keerat fixed Ranbir's patka for the billionth time and kissed him all over his face before finally letting us go.
I went down the road to Rohan's and caught Rahul walking out of the house.
"What time do you start?" I asked him.
"In like an hour and a half. I'm just passing time. Why?" He walked up to me.
"Come drop Ranbir to school with me and also I want to take you to school."
"No man. I'm in year twelve. I'm not having my sister 'drop me' to school."
"Fine then. Be like that." I turned around and walked the other way.
"For flips sake man." I heard Rahul mumble before jogging up to us.
That's what I thought.
. . .
"Bye- wait." I pulled Rahul back and fixed his pagh because it was kinda uneven. "You've been using the beard oils I got you. Told you you needed it." I gently slapped his cheek.
"Thank you."
"Shall I pick you up too?"
"Flip off man." He shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
"Bye mama." Kareena waved so he turned around with a grin and squatted down so I unbuckled her from out of the pushchair so she could run into his arms. (mum's brother.)
"Funny seeing you here." I heard a familiar voice behind me. Why is he everywhere for fucks sake.
"What do you want, George?" I didn't turn around.
"Just saying hi, honey. What do you say to us getting a drink?"
"I say no. Plus it's eight thirty in the morning."
"What about coffee?"
"What kind?" I 'tested' him.
"Warm with chocolate?"
"Get out of my face, George. Chalo Kareena. Ham chips praapt kar sakate hain." I called her. (We can get chips)
Warm with chocolate my ass.
"I just want to catch up, Jas. Come on..."
"Is no such a hard word for you to understand? Did you not learn the last time?"
