Bloom's Dark Secret

Today's class involved a tough exercise for the students as there was an obstacle course set up in the gymnasium and during Bloom's turn she had to get an enchanted rose.

With a snap of Faragondo's fingers rays of light shot out towards Bloom and flipped about avoiding them but she tripped falling flat, she got up quickly avoiding a ray that almost got her. She flew up and grabbed the flower and landed on the ground.

"Come on Bloom, you got this!" Blaire yelled while the rest of her friends looked out nervously.

"Blaire." Faragonda said warningly.

"Sorry." She smiled shyly.

Bloom smiled at the vote of confidence and flew into the air dodging rays left, right and centre before she made it to the gold plate where she's supposed to place it but with a sneaky grin Faragonda summoned a giant ball of water above her unsuspecting head. As Bloom was about to lay the enchanted flower on the plate it fell and she screamed in surprise and instinctively raised her hand and shot a blast that evaporated it. The fearful girls cheered for the friend as Blaire slumped back all the anxiety flowing out of her.

"Settle down girls, excellent performance Bloom return to your seat. Blaire, you're up." Faragonda said.

"Yes, Miss Faragonda." Blaire said and the sisters walked towards each other and gave each other a high five.

"You were great out there Bloom." She said.

"Knock'em dead sis." Bloom said as she transformed back and they walked away from each other.

Blaire transformed into her fairy form ready for her exercise to begin.

Faragonda then summoned a dead tree in the room and in the centre there was a gem on the inside the tree branches acted like whips and tried to strike her down but she jumped, ducked, fliped and flew avoiding every attack before finally she sent a blast that trapped a branch with crystal and she did this a few more times and she had an opening and took the Gem.

She flew up and hovered above the tree and raised the gem in the air where she used it, letting it shine bright and the dead tree soon grew green crystal leaves and red crytal apples and the badk turned into a healthy brown wuth a few glittereing gems here and there.

When she was done her friends and sister cheered as they marvelled at her work.

After class Blaire invited Stephan to apologize for lashing out at him and she wanted to explain so she invited him out to a cafe in Magix.

"Hey, it's okay you don't need to apologize. If someone came to me like that I'd be pretty angry too." He said as a waitress gave them their sodas.

"Thanks for understanding, but I was also hoping we could…you know, maybe get to know each other?" She asked.

"Sure, I'd like nothing more that to get to know my sister…although I think our pets seem to have beat us to sibling bonding." He seemed looking down at Spike and Lola who were cuddled up together. Blaire looked down as well and smiled too.

"I have to agree." She said.

"So, how's school and everything?" He asked.

"Well…" She wilted and he noticed. "You can say I'm a bit anxious because there's so much we don't know about ourselves, our parents, our planet, our people and how I came to possess these extraordinary powers." She said.

"Well, that's quite the stuff to be anxious about." He nodded.

"How do you deal with it? How are you not dying of curiosity?" She asked.
