"Plan A will cost us less. I am damn sure", Louie declared in front of those present in the meeting, which was only two. "Trust me on this Richard. When have I ever been wrong?"

Oh louie. Good ol' Louie. Definitely not a friend yet not cruel enough to be my enemy. Dark blond hair with a pretty face and twinkling eyes. Although, his looks can be misleading, behind that face lies a temper. A very big one. He's still hot though.

"More than I can count", Emma taunted." Richard take my word and proceed with Plan B. It's more efficient and safe. At least we won't be working with a terrorist Organization".

"They are just a small company! Anyway, My plan will manage to save more money. Isn't that what the director wants!?"

"What if it goes wrong? What if they fail to carry out the process? We shouldn't take that big of a risk", Emma tried to reason though equally as loud.

"Silence! Must you two be so loud?" Richard questioned. "As for the method of transportation, I choose not to follow Louie's little terrorist group. We will do business with Anderson as always. I guarantee they have a branch in india."

Why'd you say you were going to take suggestions if you already had it planned? Boss, this really isn't fair.", Louie said with an aggravated tone. " All that work for nothing".

" Who said i didn't take suggestions?" Richard spoke with a confused expression. " This whole transporting resources from India was Emma's idea. Granted Anderson was my choice. A fine man, i must admit."

"Exactly! That man looks like Daniel Craig , if Craig was African and young. Either way he's good looking.", Emma added with a proud face.

"Can we please just focus on me?", Louie said with a hint of irritation.

"No." Both answered nonchalantly. "My Decision is final. Unless you have a better plan, then we will be proceeding as usual. Emma draw up a report and put it on my desk by today. Any further questions?", Richard announced.

"Sure sir.", Emma responded quietly, promptly leaving the room.

"No...."Louie grumbled. "You could have told me that you wanted to play safe. I would have prepared that way". " Louie, you and Emma are my prized employees. Don't feel dejected. I liked your proposal but it was to unconventional, especially for a big project like this. I sincerely hope you understand." Richard reasoned with him.

"Fine fine. I understand sir. I'll go talk to the research team for the upcoming product. Have a nice day".

                                            ---------------------------------------------------------------

Time skip to lunch break-

"How could he tell me to prepare the report by today?? Does he not know that i am not superman or sherlock? My god, he annoys me." Emma spoke with her voice being louder than a mic.

"From where did sherlock come? I thought he was a detective?" Olivia asked not understanding her friend's rage. "Em, you know your boss. You know he is a massive dick. Just forget about him and enjoy your lunch. Come look, it's lasagna."

Olivia worked in the marketing team. A brunette with a cool composure and dark, brown eyes that could look through any mask. Regardless of how much she complained about her job, Olivia was a serious worker. She loved her job more than anything in the world. She was older than me, I consider her a old sister.

Just as they were going for the plates, someone took hold of Emma's hand forcing her to turn back. It was Rhea.

"I need your help.", Rhea pleaded. Not giving the other girl a chance to speak, Rhea firmly gripped Emma's hand and wandered towards her desk.

"I can't understand what this means. I tried asking Louie but clearly that didn't go well."

I read the document with a blank expression. It wasn't a hard one to understand though i was disappointed that i'm missing lunch for such a menial matter.

"It's just a contract. They are basically notifying the ingredients and their amount and price. Just send this to Richard for clarification.", Emma replied, a bit annoyed.

"Okay. Thanksss.", Rhea said while making a hissing sound with the letter 's'.

With a pencil thin waist and hair up in a bun, she looked like a Barbie doll. The expensive one, offcourse, Rhea wasn't a new employee. In fact she started working way before me yet rookies work better than her. I wonder sometimes how she got this job. Connections or luck. I understand that such thoughts are rude but i can't help it.

Only 5 minutes remaining for break. Great. I wished i didn't have to help others at the expense of my time. It wasn't like i hated Rhea. Obviously i can't say no when asked for help. That is basic etiquette. I don't want my colleagues to think i'm rude or that i'm a bitch(not wrong though).

I walked towards my cubicle, sending a text message to Olivia, saying sorry for missing lunch. The office was mostly empty. Files filled with paperwork were lying in heaps on the various desks. Looking at this, i feel like i am not doing enough. That everyone does more work than me. That really isn't true yet it feels terrible. At the end, i am still average.

"Why do you look so depressed?" Richard worriedly asked." Is it because of the report? If you want i can extend the deadline to tomorrow morning. After all , i don't want you to feel pressured."

"It's fine sir. I'm completely fine." Emma replied with a sigh with her eyelids drooping.

"No you're not. Usually when you come back from lunch, you have a contented face. with a faint smile. It normally looked like you were glowing."

Although that sounds borderline stalker behaviour, It made me smile. It was a very weird thing. One moment , he is being unreasonable and the next, he's being considerate. I should have studied psychology when i had the chance. Nevertheless, i liked it.

"It's probably the weather, sir. I'm fine."

Richard, looking worried, reluctantly left the cubicle and walked towards his own office.

                                                    -------------------------------------------

"You like Emma, don't you?" He asked with that annoying smirk of his.
