Chapter 2: The Nests focuses on the lives and the individual endeavors of the Paradoias brothers, and the King's Court. This chapter also gives effort to Anna Koslov's view of Light's decision and flounders upon the latter's innocence on the truth. Meanwhile, this chapter may have events leading to Light's further decisions in living in the Urban, or the mainland England, as he takes the name of Genesis.
Chapter 1: The Flightless Eagle, however, focuses mainly on Light and the discovery of the brothers of the truth behind Light's heritage. In the previous chapter, Light's parents die of an assassination, not by assassins, but by hired men of the King's Court, or the Cabinet. The previous chapter puts effort on Light and Anna's love-life together, but not fully detailed. In this chapter the previous of Anna's life is mildly detailed.
