Druig's pov :

I watch her , like I do every other night for centuries now . I don't know why I just love to watch her sleep , I always have . She is addicting kinda like a drug .

I lean over to sit on her hanging bed and play with the vines holding it up . Even in the dark you can make out her features with not a single strand of hair out of place .

I get up from her bed about to make my way out when I hear her call ... in her dream , is she dreaming about me like I do of her every night ?

My heart skips a beat when my name falls from her sweet lips . I slowly turn around expecting to be met with an angelic sleeping face instead I am met with a terrified angel, eyes widened in fear and eyebrows furrowed in confusion , sweet lips trembling.

I sigh knowing that this day would have come sooner or later .

"What are y-" I cut her off before her mind starts rushing with thoughts . "I came to close your window" . Reasonable explanation right ?

Her face slightly relaxes before she lays back on the bed with a sigh before giggling. "I thought you were watching me sleep or something , well I mean I woke up to a figure sitting on my bed staring at me soo..." . My heart drops at that .

Is watching her sleep weird ? Do normal lovers don't do that ?
Just laugh it out .

"Hahaha ha... yeah that would have been so weird " I shove my hands into the pocket of my robe , my guilt only rising more when I fell her pantie that I shoved into it a few minutes ago .

In my defence if she just walked up to me and said 'here druig have my panties ' like a lover would do I wouldn't have to steal from her . I brush it off knowing that she is too innocent for that kind of thing .

"Well I better get going and you milady , need to go to sleep" I blow her a kiss before shutting her door only to hear her in my head .

'Stay' she pleads telepathically I sigh shaking my head knowing that I won't be able to sleep if I say no .

I open the door again to find her scooted to one side of her bed , making enough room for me .

I slip in cuddling with her before using my abilities to make her fall asleep as fast as you can say 'druig has gone mental' .

It kind of hurts knowing that I have been watching her for centuries and it's only now that she notices the protective figure watching her . I watch her to protect her , it's for her own good . Right ? I have never had a lover before y/n , I just wish that she would open her beautiful eyes and realise that she wants me too and even if she doesn't want me ... im going to make her want me , weather she likes it or not because I have been playing 'bestfriend' for too long and I will no longer deal with the fact that she doesn't know that she is mine she always has been and she always will be .

I later on let sleep take over me but not before securing my mind completely.
