Jughead's p.o.v.

"Are you sure about this" I said as we walked in with Salem. "Yes" Betty said as we walked in as people began to cheer. Congratulations Jughead" Sweet Pea said as hug patted on my shoulder and hugged Betty. "She's beautiful, it's time to do the serpent sound off" fangs said to me as I sat our daughter's car seat on the table and unfastened her. "What's that Jughead" it's the serpents way of announcing the name of the heir, all the serpents will yell out there names and at the end we'll shout her name out" I explained to her. "Let's do it"Betty said as we walked onto the stage. "Serpents sound off" I yelled as names began to echo.

Betty's p.o.v.

A few names went before I recognized a name, 'sweet pea' stood out to me. The next name that stood out to me was 'Fangs Fogarty' and then I began to tune them out right before Jughead was supposed to go. 'FP Jones' 'Alice Smith' was yelled out. "Jughead Jones" my husband yelled out before nudging me enough to snap me back into reality. "Betty Jones" I yelled out as Jughead smiled at me. "Salem Jones" me and Jughead yelled out followed by the cheers of the other serpents as we stepped off the stage. "It's time we introduced you to everyone sweet girl" I said as I walked around to my mom and Jughead's dad. "Salem, this is your papa Jones and nana Cooper" I said as I hugged FP. "What's miss Salem's middle name?" FP asked me as he kissed her forehead.

"Her middle name is Ivy" I said as I kissed her cheek. "She's adorable Betty" my mom said as she rubbed her hand. "Of course she is, she's mine" Jughead said as he kissed my cheek. "No denying that, she looks like both of you" FP said with a smile. "Well I'm going to introduce her to some more people" I said as I walked towards Kevin. "Salem this is your uncle Kevin, he is the best uncle you could have asked for" I said as he rubbed her cheek. "Move dweebs, the aunties are in the building" I heard Cheryl yell as her and Veronica pushed through people.

"Hello sweet Salem, I'm your auntie Cheryl, I'll give you a taste of fun when your mommy bores you" Cheryl said before walking away. "This beautiful lady is your Tia Ronnie, I am going to spoil you in ways a nana could never" Veronica said as she kissed Salem's forehead. "And this is your auntie Polly, she would have loved to meet you" I said as I began to cry but my tears were interrupted by the sound of 3 year old Juniper and Dagwood running towards me yelling Auntie Betty. "These are your cousins" I said as Jughead lifted Juniper up causing her to giggle.

"This is Juniper, she is going to be your partner in crime someday" I said as Jughead sat her down and picked up Dagwood. "And this is Dagwood, he is gonna make your life a little messy, but in a good way" I said as Jughead sat him down.

Jughead's p.o.v.

"Now it's my turn to take you to meet people" I said as Betty handed her to me. "Salem this is sweet pea, this is one of the most loyal people I know. To bad his stupidity gets in the way" I said as sweet Pea smiled and lightly socked my shoulder. "And this is your uncle Fangs, he keeps your uncle Kevin in check and vice versa" I said as Fangs patted my shoulder. "Hell yeah I do" Fangs said as he kissed Kevin. "This is your auntie Toni, she is the only person who will ever tame your auntie Cheryl" I said as Toni glanced lovingly at Cheryl.

"And this is your auntie jellybean, she is the craziest and the most amazing person I know" I said as jellybean kissed her cheek. I was smiling at my sister when a gunshot rang through the building. "Everyone hit the deck" I said as I handed my daughter to jellybean and crawled to the bar and grabbed the shot gun. "Children are here, MY child is here" I said as I began firing and watching the bodies hit the ground. It was over 10 minutes later. "I trust you'll take care of this" I said to my dad as I handed him the gun and went to hug Betty.

"Where is Salem, is she safe" Betty asked as she clung to me. "Is everyone okay" I yelled as I held Betty close to me. "I think we are all good" dad said as he helped Alice stand up. "I'm sick of the ghoulies thinking they can terrorize my family, I refuse to let my child be raised in a terror filled world" I said as stood on the bar. "So as mothers" Betty said as the serpent mothers yelled. "And as fathers" I said as the serpent fathers yelled in agreement. "We will protect not only serpent children but all of Riverdale's children" I said.

"Starting with the ghoulies, they need to know that next time any of their crew pulls a gun out near any child again we will be the one taking shots" I said as the serpents cheered in unison. "No child will ever live in fear ever again" I yelled. "Now we are closing the worm for the night so everyone out" I said as I gathered my family and headed home. "Are you okay Jughead" Betty said as she rested her hand on mine. "Yes, as long as my family is safe I am okay" I answered her. "That doesn't mean you are okay, you've changed since Salem has arrived" Betty. "I'm just trying to protect my family in the best ways I can" I answered her.

"I'm your wife Jughead, I promised to support you through it all when you can't even talk to me" Betty yelled causing Salem to cry. "You're right, it isn't fair to you" I said as we pulled into the driveway. "I also feel like we don't connect as much as we used to" I revealed. "I love our daughter but she is the biggest cockblock ever" I said as we began to unload the car and bring everything inside. "I'll see what I can do for a babysitter and we'll have a kid free day" Betty said as we laid Salem down in her crib.
